Candidates have to follow some important steps while applying online for the TNPSC Group 1. In the below article, we have provided the important steps that candidates have to follow to fill up their application form without facing any issues.

Step 01: Registration

Open the official website of the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) at www.tnpsc.gov.in.
Click on the ‘One Time Registration & Dashboard’ tab on the homepage (especially for new users).
Select ‘New User Registration,’ create a Login ID, and enter the captcha code.
Create a password for your ID, and provide details like e-mail ID, mobile number, name, category, religion, and parent’s name. Verify the OTP sent to your mobile number.
Enter your SSLC Register Number, Certificate Number, Month and Year of Passing, Medium of Instruction, and issuing Board’s name.
Fill in other details such as address and pin code.
Upload a scanned passport-size photograph and your signature as per the specified format.
Pay the one-time registration fee of Rs. 150/- and submit.

Step 02: Filling the TNPSC Group 1 Application Form

Return to the homepage and click on ‘Apply Online.’
Look for ‘Combined Civil Services Examination-I (Group 1 Services)’ and click on ‘Apply Now.’
Sign in using your Login ID and password from the one-time registration.

TNPSC Group 1 Application Fees

Candidates who will fill out their online application form must pay a nominal fee while submitting their application form. Candidates can pay the application fees by using their Net Banking, Debit Card, or Credit Card without the application fees the application form will not be accepted.

Candidates who are registering for the first time are required to pay Rs. 150/- and Rs. 100/- as Examination fee for Prelims Exam. Those who qualify the Prelims exam, will have to pay the Mains examination fee which is Rs. 200/-
