TNPSC Group 1 Mains Exam Date 2024 Out
The TNPSC Group 1 Exam 2024 is conducted to recruit eligible candidates for the Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Category-1), and Assistant Commissioner(Commercial Taxes) for which the total number of vacancies announced is 90 by the official. The Prelims result has been announced along with the Mains exam schedule. Candidates can download the TNPSC Group 1 Result below. TNPSC Group 1 Selection Procedure
The selection of the candidates for the TNPSC Group 1 Recruitment 2024 will be done through the Prelims, Mains, and Interview stages. Check stage-wise details below:
- Preliminary Test:Â This is the first stage and it is qualifying in nature and its marks will not be added. The questions are MCQ-based and total marks is 300. The total duration of the exam is 3 hours.
- Mains Exam:Â To assess the candidate’s in-depth knowledge and ability to present information coherently, the Mains exam is conducted and it consists of 3 papers of 250 marks each.
- Interview: Total Marks is 100 and it is conducted to evaluate the candidate’s personality, communication skills, and suitability for the administrative positions.
TNPS Group 1 Mains Exam Pattern 2024
The TNPSC Group 1 Mains exam consists of 4 papers. Paper is qualifying in nature and merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in Paper 2, 3, and 4. The mains exam is descriptive in nature.

TNPSC Group 1 Mains Admit Card 2024
The admit card for the TNPSC Group 1 Mains Exam will be released a few days before the exam on its official website @tnpsc.gov.in. After the hall ticket is released, candidates will need to download and take a printout of it by logging into the portal.
