The WB Public Service Commission has released an official notice regarding the Scheme & Syllabus of the Assistant Translator Exam 2024. Candidates should know about the WBPSC Assistant Translator Scheme & Syllabus 2024 ahead of the exam date to make their preparation successful.
West Bengal Assistant Translator exam will be held in two stages i.e Written test and Interview. Candidates who qualified for the written test are eligible to appear for the interview. The total mark in the exam is 100, of which the Written test is for 80 Marks.

English Grammar (60 Marks):

- Synonyms
- Antonyms
- Voice change
- Narration change
- Preposition
- Transformation of Sentences
- Group Verbs/ Idioms
General Awareness Syllabus includes Primary knowledge of Constitution of India, Current Affairs, Recent Awards, Ranks, Reports and other important details.
The syllabus for Part-2,3,4 includes translation of sentences from English to Bengali/ Nepali/ Santhali vice versa.
