Recently, the authorities revised the ADRE Exam Pattern and Syllabus for the Grade 3 and Grade 4 posts and categorised the exam pattern under 3 categories as Bachelor degree, HSSLC, and HSLC level. The exam pattern of these 3 categories are slightly different from each other. Assam Direct Recruitment Exam Pattern 2024

You can check the exam pattern for the written exam to be conducted for the Class 3 and 4 posts. The exam is OMR-based and questions will be Multiple choice based. The duration of the exam is 3 hours. Also, the exam pattern for Bachelor's degree level posts, HSSLC Level posts, and HSLC Level posts is slightly different. Bachelor's Degree Level Post Exam Pattern (Grade 3)

There are 6 sections in the exam pattern and the language of the exam is Assamese/ Bodo/ Bengali/English/Hindi. Except for the Reading Comprehension subject, each question carries 1 mark.

  1. The exam duration is 3 hours (180 minutes).
  2. The exam will have 125 questions, each worth 1 mark.
  3. 25 questions from Reading Comprehension and English Language will be worth 2 marks each.
  4. Negative marking applies:
    - For 1-mark questions, 0.25 marks will be deducted for incorrect answers.
    - For 2-mark questions, 0.5 marks will be deducted for incorrect answers.

HSSLC Level Posts Exam Pattern

The HSSLC Level Post Exam Pattern consists of 5 sections such as Social Studies, GK, Reasoning, Maths, and English. Candidates can check the other important details below:

  • Each correct answer carries 1 mark, with a penalty of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
  • A total of 150 questions will be asked from each subject.
  • The exam duration is 3 hours (180 minutes).

HLSC Level Posts Exam Pattern

The exam will feature 150 questions covering Social Studies, General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning and Mental Ability, General Mathematics, General English, and Road Transport. Each correct answer earns 1 mark, while 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer. The total duration of the exam is 3 hours (180 minutes).

ADRE Grade 4 Exam Pattern 2024

There will be two categories: For Posts/Read up to Class VIII level and For Posts/HSLC (Class 10) passed or equivalent exam, including ITI pass certificates in trades like Wireman, Electrician, Fitter, Welder, Machinist, and Electronics Mechanic from a government-approved institute.

  • There are a total of 135 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
  • Each question carries 1 mark.
  • Exam duration: 2 hours and 30 minutes (150 minutes).
  • Negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
  • Medium of Language: Assamese, Bengali, English, Boro, and Hindi
