- Save & Continue: If you cannot complete the form in one go, click “SAVE AND NEXT” to store your progress.
- Verify & Validate: Review all entered details carefully before clicking “COMPLETE REGISTRATION”, as changes will not be allowed later.
- Upload Documents: Upload your Photo & Signature as per the guidelines. Complete the rest of the application form. Click “Preview” to review the entire form before submission.
- Final Submission: Modify details if needed, then click “COMPLETE REGISTRATION” after ensuring accuracy.
- Make Payment: Click on the ‘Payment’ tab and proceed with the payment.

Before applying for the Specialist Officer posts, candidates must check the BOI SO Eligibility Criteria which includes the age limit and educational qualification. Those who fulfil the criteria will be able to apply online.
BOI SO Age Limit
The minimum age limit for Specialist Officer posts is 25 years and the maximum is as follow:
- Senior Management Grade Scale 4: 28-45 Years
- Middle Management Grade Scale 3: 28-40 Years
- Middle Management Grade Scale 2: 25-35 Years
