CBSE JA Syllabus 2025 Subject-wise
Here we have provided the CBSE Junior Assistant Syllabus 2025 for the Single Tier Examination. The Junior Assistant exam consists of an objective-type examination that is OMR-based. Candidates must answer multiple-choice questions (MCQs) to 100 questions. The exam is divided into five sections, with a total score of 300 marks. - Networking & Cyber Security: Networking devices, security threats (hacking, viruses), preventive measures
- Computer Basics: Organization, CPU, input/output devices, memory, ports, Windows Explorer.
- Internet & E-mails: Browsing, searching, downloading/uploading, managing email, e-banking
Part 5: Awareness About School Education, Examination Board and its Administration
- School Education: Knowledge of the structure of school education (primary, secondary, higher secondary), curriculum, teaching methods, and educational policies, including reforms and the role of schools in student learning.
- Examination Administration: Understanding how exams are managed, including schedules, paper setting, evaluation, results, and handling exam-related issues.
- Examination Boards: Awareness of boards like CBSE, ICSE, and state boards that conduct exams, their guidelines, and their role in certifying students and ensuring fair assessments.
CBSE Junior Assistant Exam Pattern 2025
Candidates will first appear for a Tier-1 MCQ-based exam, followed by a Skill Test which is qualifying in nature. Only those who score well in Tier 1 will be shortlisted for the Skill Test in a 1:5 ratio. A score below 30% in any exam will not be eligible for further consideration.
- Each question has only one correct answer.
- Each correct answer awards 3 marks.
- For every incorrect answer, 1/3rd mark will be deducted.
- No marks will be awarded or deducted for unanswered questions.
- Selecting multiple options for a question will be considered incorrect, resulting in a deduction of 1 mark.
