IBPS RRB PO Exam Pattern 2024
- The questions asked in the exam shall be of MCQ type and computer-based.
- Candidates are required to secure sectional as well as overall cut-off.
- There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks.
- In the main exam, candidates have to choose between the Hindi and English Exams.
IBPS RRB PO Prelims Exam Pattern
The IBPS RRB Preliminary examination is conducted online. Candidates must answer 80 questions within 45 minutes. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every answer marked wrong. The detailed exam pattern for the prelims stage is outlined below.

IBPS RRB PO Mains Exam Pattern
Candidates who pass the preliminary examination will advance to the main examination. The main exam comprises five sections, totaling 200 marks, to be completed in 2 hours. For the language section, candidates can choose between English and Hindi. There is a penalty of one-fourth of a mark for each incorrect answer.

IBPS RRB PO Syllabus
The IBPS RRB PO Syllabus and Exam Pattern consist of topics based on Quantitative Aptitude, Numerical Ability, General Awareness, Hindi, English, and Computer Knowledge. The questions asked in the IBPS RRB PO Exam will be multiple choice based.

IBPS RRB PO Interview
Candidates who pass the RRB PO Mains exam will be invited for the Interview round by IBPS. The interview is worth 100 marks. To qualify, candidates need at least 40% marks, or 35% for those in ST, SC, OBC, or PWD categories.
