IBPS RRB Exam Pattern 2024

The IBPS RRB Exam Pattern for the PO, Clerk, Officer Grade-II & III post has been discussed here.

  1. For IBPS RRB Clerk, there will be two stages of the Exam- Prelims & Mains
  2. For IBPS RRB PO or Officer Scale I, there will be three stages of the Exam- Prelims, Mains & Interview
  3. For IBPS Officer Grade II (General Banking Officer and Specialist Cadre) and III, there will be a single-window exam- IBPS Officer Grade II Exam &  Interview
  4. For all the posts of IBPS RRB, the candidates have to pass each stage of the Exam for their successful selection.

IBPS RRB Assistant Prelims Exam Pattern

A composite time of 45 minutes is provided to candidates to complete two sections namely Reasoning and Numerical Ability. Candidates must clear the cut-off of each section. The cut-off for each section is decided by the team of IBPS depending on the level of difficulty of the paper

A composite time of 2 hours is provided to candidates to complete five sections namely Reasoning and Numerical Ability, General Awareness, English/Hindi Language, and Computer Knowledge IBPS RRB Assistant Mains Exam. There will be a penalty of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.

IBPS RRB Syllabus Interview Process

Candidates who have been shortlisted in the main examination for the post of Officers Scale I, II & III will be subsequently called for an interview coordinated by the Nodal Regional Rural Bank with the help of NABARD.

The marks for the interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks in the interview for Officers Scale, I, II, and III will be as per extant guidelines. Only by qualifying both in the Online Examination (Main/Single) and Common Interview with sufficiently high marks will candidates be shortlisted for the subsequent provisional allotment process.
