Implementation of Aadhaar Based Biometric Authentication in SSC examinations

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) issued an important notice on April 16, 2025 regarding the implementation of Aadhaar-based biometric authentication in its upcoming examinations. Starting from May 2025, candidates will have the option to authenticate their identity using Aadhaar during online registration, form submission, and while appearing at the exam center. Implementation of Aadhaar Based Biometric Authentication in SSC examinations

According to the notice released by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), the Aadhaar-based biometric authentication will be introduced for its upcoming examinations which begin from May 2025. With this new system, candidates will have the option to authenticate their identity using Aadhaar during online registration, while filling out the application form, and at the examination center on the day of the test.

This authentication process is voluntary and aims to enhance the ease and efficiency of participating in the examination process. Candidates are encouraged to keep their Aadhaar details ready to take advantage of this convenient method.
