KEA VAO Eligibility Criteria 2024

Education Qualifications
Candidates have to fulfill the education qualifications first. The required eligibility is as follows
- Applicants need to have finished their 12th-grade exams from a recognized school or board.
- If candidates pass one language class and one regular subject from NIOS, or one language and one subject from a pre-graduate course, then candidates are seen as equal to having a PUC.
Age Limit
After fulfilling the education qualifications candidates have to complete the age limit criteria. Candidates must come within the age limit which is given in the notification PDF. We have provided the age limit below in the table for the convenience of candidates.
KEA VAO Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
To hire suitable candidates for Village Administrative Officer (VAO) positions, a competitive exam will be held using paper-based answer sheets. Those who pass the written test will be invited for document verification.

KEA VAO Exam Pattern
The KEA VAO Exam Pattern consists of 2 papers. The Kananda Language Test is a compulsory paper and candidates are required to score 50 marks in it. This paper is qualifying in nature and its marks will not be added to the final merit list.
- The questions shall be objective in nature and it will be an Offline-OMR-based Exam.
- The language of the exam is bilingual: English and Kannada
- There is a negative marking of 1/4th for each wrong answer.
