KEA VAO Vacancy 2024

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) is looking to hire 1000 Village Administrative Officers (VAOs) for both RPC Cadre and Kalyana Cadre in various districts of Karnataka through the KEA VAO Recruitment 2024. Details of the vacancies in each district are provided in the table below.

KEA VAO 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates have to know about the eligibility criteria first before applying for the KEA VAO Exam 2024. Candidates are suggested only to those candidates who can fulfill the eligibility criteria easily. The eligibility criteria are as follows

Education Qualifications

Candidates have to fulfill the education qualifications first. The required eligibility is as follows

1. Applicants need to have finished their 12th-grade exams from a recognized school or board.
2. If candidates pass one language class and one regular subject from NIOS, or one language and one subject from a pre-graduate course, then candidates are seen as equal to having a PUC.

Age Limit

After fulfilling the education qualifications candidates have to complete the age limit criteria. The KEA has notified that the maximum age limit has been increased for all category candidates by 3 years. Candidates must come within the age limit which is given in the notification PDF. To hire suitable candidates for Village Administrative Officer (VAO) positions, a competitive exam will be held using paper-based answer sheets. Those who pass the written test will be invited for document verification.

KEA VAO 2024 Exam Pattern

The KEA VAO Exam Pattern consists of 2 papers. The Kananda Language Test is a compulsory paper and candidates are required to score 50 marks in it. This paper is qualifying in nature and its marks will not be added to the final merit list.

1. The questions shall be objective in nature and it will be an Offline-OMR-based Exam.
2. The language of the exam is bilingual: English and Kannada
3. There is a negative marking of 1/4th for each wrong answer.
