| III | Physical Efficiency Test (PET) | Candidates who qualify in the PMT proceed to the PET, which includes a running event. |
| IV | Final Written Exam | Candidates who clear the PMT and PET are eligible for the Final Written Examination conducted by WBPRB. The exam consists of 85 objective-type questions. Each correct answer earns 1 mark, with a negative marking of 1/4th mark for incorrect answers. The qualifying marks for this test determine eligibility for the next stage. |
