OSSC CHSL 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are required to go through the detailed eligibility criteria which include the age limit and educational qualification. • Be a citizen of India.
• Possess good character.
• Be of sound health, with a good physique, and free from organic defects or bodily infirmities.
• If married, must not have more than one living spouse.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak Odia fluently and satisfy one of the following conditions:

Must have passed the Middle School Examination with Odia as a language subject.

OR

Must have passed the HSC Examination or an equivalent exam with Odia as the medium of examination in non-language subjects.

OSSC CHSL 2024 Selection Process

The selection process of the OSSC Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) 2024 includes the following stages.

1. Preliminary Examination: The preliminary examination will be OMR-based and will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions. The duration of the examination will be 2 hours.
2. Main Examination: The main examination will be written and it consists of papers based on Technical knowledge. The duration of the paper will be 3 hours.
3. Document Verification: Those who get selected will be called for the Document Verification round.

OSSC CHSL 2024 Exam Pattern

The OSSC CHSL Exam Pattern for Preliminary and Mains Exam is given below. The exam consists of 150 and 200 questions respectively and it shall be conducted in OMR-Based mode. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer marked by the candidate.
