RBI Grade B Salary 2024: Increments

• The revised salary structure for RBI Grade B Officers starts at Rs. 55,200 per month, with an annual increment of Rs. 2,850 for the first 9 years of service.
• After this period, the salary increases to Rs. 80,850 monthly, with an increment of Rs. 2,850 over the following 2 years.
• Subsequently, the salary rises to Rs. 86,550 per month, with an increment of Rs. 3,300 for the subsequent 4 years.
• The basic pay remains Rs. 99,750 for the subsequent 16 years.

RBI Grade B 2024: Perks and Allowances

1. Dearness Allowance(DA): DA of 31% of the basic salary.
2. Grade Allowance (GA): Rs. 6,800 is given to the RBI Grade B Officer as Grade Allowances.
3. HRA Allowance: 2BHK/3BHK flat is given to the RBI Grade B employees. If the employees are not allocated flats, then they can claim up to Rs 70,000 as rent allowance.
4. Medical Allowance: Medical allowances up to 4500 Rupees can be claimed. These allowances are also valid for employees’ dependents.
5. Education Allowance: RBI Grade B officers can avail Rs. 4000/- under education allowance every month.
6. Fuel Allowance: 150 litres of fuel per month can be claimed.
7. Maid Allowance: Rs 3000/- is offered under the maid allowance received by RBI Grade B officers.
8. Mobile Allowance: A claim up to Rs 1500/- as a mobile allowance.
9. Sodexo Coupons: RBI provides the employees with Sodexo coupons worth Rs 2000/- which can be spent on food/groceries.
10. Leave Fare Concession Travel (LFC):  The RBI will offer around Rs.1,00,000 for the employees under the LFC allowance. This can be availed once in two years, by the employee and his dependents.
11. Briefcase allowance: The officers can avail of Rs.7000 under the briefcase allowance. This amount can be reimbursed once every three years.
12.  Spectacles allowances: Spectacles allowance of Rs 7000/- can be claimed for either the RBI Grade B officer or the spouse.

All the Officers selected through the RBI Grade B 2024 Exam will receive an annual salary range of 20-24 lacs. Along with the CTC, various emoluments & allowances are given.

The first increment of RBI Grade B Officer is done after 5 years of their service period.

1. A yearly increment of Rs. 2850 for the next two years if you reach the Efficiency Bar (EB)
2. After 9 years is over, your basic pay is: Receive an increment of – Rs. 80850
3. After 11 years of service, your basic pay will amount to Rs. 86,550, with an annual increment of Rs. 3,300 for the subsequent four years.
4. Following a total of 16 years in service, the maximum basic pay reaches Rs. 99,750.
