RPF Constable Important Notice for SC Candidates
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has issued a notice for candidates of CEN RPF 02/2024 (Constable) who belong to PAN / SAWASI / PANR / TANTI – TATWA castes from Bihar or have migrated and mentioned SC in their online application. As per a Supreme Court Judgment, such candidates must submit a self-attested scanned copy of their latest caste certificate (issued on or after 01-09-2024) in PDF format via their registered Email ID to asrrb@sc.railnet.gov.in by March 30, 2025 (11:59 PM). Failure to do so will require them to provide both old and new caste certificates at Document Verification, and any discrepancy may result in consideration under the Unreserved (UR) category. Candidates should check the official RRB website for updates.
Important Instructions for Candidates Regarding Caste Certificate Submission:
- Applicable for those belonging to PAN / SAWASI / PANR / TANTI-TATWA (तांति-ततवा) caste.
- Candidates must be from Bihar state or have migrated (temporarily/permanently) from Bihar to other states.
- The latest caste certificate (issued on or after 01-09-2024) must be self-attested and submitted.
- Candidates from Tanti-Tatwa caste applying under OBC-NCL must submit a caste certificate as per ‘Form VII A’ or an equivalent.
- The caste certificate should be scanned in PDF format and sent via the registered email ID.
- Email must include Application Registration Number, Name, Mobile Number, CEN Number, Old Caste & Community, and Revised Caste & Community.
- The email should be sent to asrrb@sc.railnet.gov.in.
- The last date for submission is March 30, 2025 (by 11:59 PM).
- Candidates submitting within the deadline will be considered under the revised caste/community.
- Those who fail to submit on time will be considered under the SC category mentioned in the application.
- Such candidates must bring both old and new caste certificates during Document Verification.
- Any discrepancy between the old and new caste certificates may result in being treated under the Unreserved (UR) category, if eligibility criteria are met.
