Based on this assessment, the Competent Authority has approved the recruitment of 9,970 ALPs through a Centralized Employment Notification (CEN) 2025. RRB ALP New Vacancy Announced
The Railway Board has conducted an assessment of vacancies for Assistant Loco Pilots (ALP) across various Zonal Railways using the Online Indenting and Recruitment Management System (OIRMS). The railway-wise vacancy distribution has been finalized and will be included in the official notification for further processing and recruitment. Important Instructions for Zonal Railways
- Action Required: Zonal Railways must finalize the revised indent using the Online Indenting and Recruitment Management System (OIRMS) within one week from the notification date (March 19, 2025).
- Reservation Compliance: All indent placements must follow SC/ST/OBC/EWS reservation norms, ensuring backlog vacancies are also accounted for.
- Inter-Railway Transfers Considered: The vacancy distribution accounts for pending and approved inter-railway transfer requests.
