The RRB Group D Selection Process is a multi-stage experience that includes 3 stages namely the Computer-Based Test (CBT) to advance to the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Those who qualify for the PET proceed to Document Verification and a Medical Examination. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will soon release the RRB Group D Notification 2024 on the official website to recruit candidates for various posts like Track Maintainer (Grade-IV), Helper/Assistant, Assistant Pointsman, and Level-I Posts. RRB Group D Selection Process 2024

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) conducts the RRB Group D exam every year. Lakhs of candidates participate in the RRB Group D exam to fulfil their aspirations of getting a government job in the Indian Railway department. RRB Group D Selection Process for CBT

The first stage of the RRB Group D Selection Process is the Computer-Based Examination, which totals 100 marks and lasts 90 minutes. It includes subjects like General Awareness, Reasoning, Mathematics, and General Science. However, candidates with disabilities (PwD) are allotted 120 minutes to complete the exam

RRB Group D Selection Process for Physical Efficiency Examination (PET)

The second stage of the RRB Group D Selection Process is the Physical Efficiency Examination (PET), which is conducted after the candidates qualify for the Computer-Based Test. This examination evaluates the physical fitness of shortlisted applicants, requiring participation from both male and female candidates. Notably, candidates with a 40% disability (PwD) are exempt from the Physical Efficiency Test. RRB Group D Physical Efficiency Test Criteria for Male Candidate

You should be able to lift and carry 35 kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in under two minutes without stopping.
In a single attempt, you should be able to run 1000 metres in 4 minutes and 15 seconds.

RRB Group D PET for Female Candidates

RRB Group D Physical Efficiency Test Criteria for Female Candidate

You should be able to lift and carry 20 kg of weight for 100 metres in two minutes without stopping.
In a single attempt, you should be able to run 1000 metres in 5 minutes and 40 seconds.

RRB Group D Selection Process 2024: Document Verification

The third stage of the RRB Group D Selection Process is the Document Verification, followed by the Medical Test. At this stage, the final shortlisted candidates must submit their documents for verification. Failing to provide all the required documents will lead to disqualification from the RRB Group D Recruitment Process.

Following the document verification stage, candidates must undergo a Medical Examination. Successfully passing this test is essential to complete the selection process and secure the position. Meeting the required medical standards is critical for advancing to the final stage.

B-2	Physically fit in all respects	Distant Vision: 6/9, 6/12 with or without glasses (power of lenses not to exceed 4D). Near Vision: Sn. 0.6, 0.6 with or without glasses when reading or close work is required and Must pass the test for Binocular Vision, etc.
C-1	Physically fit in all respects	Distant Vision: 6/12, 6/18 with or without glasses. Near Vision: Sn. 0.6, 0.6 with or without glasses when reading or close work is required.
C-2	Physically fit in all respects	Distant Vision: 6/12, Nil with or without glasses. Near Vision: Sn. 0.6 combined with or without glasses where reading or close work is required.
