- Gather the Necessary Materials: Have all the required materials, including the question paper, answer sheets, a stopwatch or timer, and a calculator (if permitted in the exam).
- Start with a Time Management Plan: Before starting, quickly skim through the question paper to gauge the difficulty level and plan how much time to allocate to each section. Prioritize sections based on your strengths.
- Attempt Questions in Sequence: Begin with the easier questions or sections where you feel most confident to build momentum and save time for the more challenging parts later.

- Analyze Your Performance: After completing the paper, check your answers against the provided solutions. Identify your strong and weak areas to focus your future preparation.
- Track Your Progress: Keep a record of your scores and the time taken for each attempt to monitor your improvement over time.
- Repeat Regularly: Consistent practice with previous year’s question papers will help you become familiar with the exam pattern, question types, and time management, enhancing your overall exam readiness.
By following these steps, you can make the most of your practice sessions and improve your performance in the RRB NTPC exam.
RRB NTPC Exam Pattern
RRB NTPC Exam Pattern 2024 for CBT 1 serves as a screening round to filter out non-serious candidates, and its marks won’t be included in the final merit list. Only the normalized score of CBT 1 will be used to shortlist candidates for CBT 2, with about 20 times the number of vacancies. There will be objectives (MCQs) in CBT 1 and CBT 2 exams.
Unlike CBT 1, the CBT 2 exam is both a screening and scoring round, meaning its marks are crucial for the final merit list. The normalized score of CBT 2 will determine candidates’ eligibility for the Skill Test/Aptitude Test.
