SBI PO Mains Exam Shift Timing 2025

Unlike Prelims exam, SBI PO Mains Exam is conducted in only 1 shift from 8:30 AM To 12 PM. The reporting time is usually 1 hour before the exam starts, but we suggest the candidates to reach the exam centre at least half an hour before the exam reporting time. SBI PO Mains Exam Duration

The total duration of the SBI PO Mains Exam is 3 hours 30 minutes and it is divided section-wise. Out of total duration, 30 minutes is for Descriptive paper and 3 hours for Objection type paper which includes English, Data Analysis, Reasoning, Computer Aptitude, and General/Economy/Banking Awareness.

SBI PO Phase 2 Exam Pattern 2025

The candidates who are going to appear in the mains examination, must get familiar with the SBI PO Exam Pattern which includes the sections, marking scheme, number of questions, total marks, and other details.

  • There are four major subjects in the mains examination including Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation, General/Economy/Banking Awareness, and English Language.
  • As discussed above, the candidates get 3 hour 30 minutes to solve the paper where they will have to answer 170 questions.
  • The total marks of the mains examination is 250 marks including the descriptive examination.
  • There is also negative marking of 0.25 for every incorrect answer.
  • In the descriptive paper, the candidates will have to answer two questions for 50 marks. These questions will include Letter Writing & Essay.
