Change in SSC CGL Exam 2024
Important: There have been some major changes in the SSC CGL Exam this year, check the details below:
- Candidates need to pay the application fees only online as there is no option for offline challan and fee payment.
- SSC has updated the process for uploading candidate photographs. Applicants must now submit a photograph taken at the time of filling out the application form, which can be done through the online application module.
- The recruitment process for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer and Assistant Accounts Officer has been skipped, resulting in a major change to the Tier 2 exam pattern.
- The General Studies (Finance & Economics) paper, which was Paper III in the Tier 2 exam, will no longer be conducted in the SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam 2024.

SSC CGL 2024 Application Form
The online registration for SSC CGL 2024 has started along with the notification release on 24th June 2024. Candidates can register for the SSC CGL Application Form from the official website. The SSC CGL Apply Online 2024 dates are from 24th June 2024 to 24th July 2024. The last date to submit the application fee is 25th July 2024.
SSC CGL 2024 Application Fee
The required SSC CGL 2024 Application Fee is Rs 100 and there are No Fees to be paid by female, SC, ST, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-servicemen candidates for the SSC CGL Exam 2024.
Exemption: No fee must be paid by female, SC, ST, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen candidates.
• Applications fee should be paid only through SBI either in the form of challan or through SBI Net Banking or any other bank Credit/Debit Card. Challan form will be generated online.
• To pay a fee in cash, the candidate should take the printout of the challan generated online after the completion of Part-1 registration. Deposit the requisite fee in any branch of SBI and then continue with the Part-2 registration.
• Those candidates who want to pay online can go directly to part-2 registration after completion of part-1 registration. Candidate must supply registration number and date of birth to continue to Part-2 registration.

SSC CGL 2024 Selection Process
The SSC CGL 2024 Exam will be conducted in Two Tiers. The SSC CGL Tier 1 Examination will be an online and computer-based test. This will be qualifying in nature and the marks for this exam will not be included in the final results however, only those candidates who qualify for the SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam will be eligible for the SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam.
The SSC CGL Tier 2 will have three papers, including Paper I and Paper II.
- It is very important to note that Paper I is compulsory for all posts.
- Candidates who will appear for Paper II will be selected for the post of Junior Statistical Officer in the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation.
- Important Note for candidates that candidates who will qualify SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam will proceed further to Tier 2.
- The cut-off for the SSC CGL 2024 Exam will be released separately for Paper I and Paper II of the Tier 2 Exam.

SSC CGL Admit Card 2024
Once the application form acceptance process is over, the next stage is the release of the application status and admit card on the official website. SSC CGL Answer Key 2024
