Recently, SSC launched a new website for all recruitments that will be carried forward from 2024 onwards. So every candidate must register again and complete the one-time registration (OTR) process. Once the OTR is done, candidates must log in with their new registration ID and password to apply online for the SSC CHSL Exam 2024. For the first time, SSC has introduced the “Live Photography” facility for candidates who will apply for the CHSL 2024. While filling out the application form, candidates need to set the camera up to their eye level with a plain background and good lighting. SSC has introduced the feature of Live Photo this time. The application form has been designed such that live photos of candidates are captured. Candidates must follow the steps below to click the Live Photo while filling out the CHSL Form.

• Candidates need to find a place with good light and a plain background.
• Candidates must ensure the camera is at eye level before taking the photo.
• Candidates must position themselves in front of the camera and look straight ahead to capture the photo.
• The face of the candidates must not be covered with a cap, mask or glasses/spectacles while capturing
  the photo.

Specifications for SSC CHSL Live Photograph Upload

While submitting the documents candidates need to follow some prerequisites. The photograph’s background should be white or blue with no spectacles, caps, or mask and the signature should be in blue or black ink. The specifications required for the documents have been shared below. Candidates whose photos are not as per the specifications will be rejected.

• Photo: 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height), file size 20-50 KB
• Signature: 4.0 cm (width) x 2.0 cm (height), file size 10-20 KB

Details Required for SSC CHSL Registration 2024

The candidate’s name, father’s name, mother’s name, Aadhar Card details, gender, date of birth, category, permanent address, email ID, Class X roll number, Class X year of passing, level of educational qualification, and mobile number are required for the application process.

The application requires the candidate’s Class X certificate, scanned colour passport size recent photograph, scanned signature, disability certificate number (if applicable), caste certificate for reservation benefits, and a valid ID proof (Aadhaar card, voter ID card, PAN card, passport, driving license, school ID, college ID, or employer ID).
