SSC CPO Eligibility Criteria 2025
A candidate must fulfil the eligibility criteria to apply for posts in SSC CPO Recruitment 2025. Educational Qualifications and Age Limit required for the job are explained below points.
SSC CPO SI Educational Qualifications (As of 1/8/2024)
- Candidates having a Graduation Degree in any stream from any recognized university will be eligible for this post.
-  For the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police (only) – Male candidates must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) as on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Standard Tests. Otherwise, they will not be allowed to undergo Physical Endurance and Standard Tests.
SSC CPO SI Age Limit (As of 1/8/2024)
The age Limit for SSC CPO is given below:
- Minimum Age Limit – 20 years
- Maximum Age Limit – 25 years
Age Relaxation
The age relaxation is given to the reserved category as per the government rules and is tabulated below.

Nationality/ Citizenship
A candidate must be either:
1. a citizen of India, or
2. a subject of Nepal, or
3. a subject of Bhutan, or
4. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories 2 and 3 above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
5. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary will be admitted to the examination but the offer of appointment will be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Government of India.
SSC CPO 2025 Selection Process

SSC CPO 2025 Exam Pattern
The SSC CPO Exam Pattern 2025 is explained below.
- Questions asked in both paper-1 and paper-2 of SSC CPO 2025 will be of Objective Multiple Choice Type.
- Questions asked will be bilingual, i.e. in both Hindi and English.
- 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
SSC CPO 2025 Exam will be conducted in three-phase:

The Staff Selection Commission will release the SSC CPO Admit Card 2025 for Tier 2 on the official website @ssc.gov.in. The candidates who are eligible for the Paper 2 will be able to download their admit card to appear in the examination scheduled on 8th March 2025.

The Staff Selection Commission will release the SSC CPO Result 2025 on the official website @ssc.gov.n for the Paper 2 after the exam is conducted successfully. The candidates who appear in the Tier 2 examination will be able to download their result and make it to the merit list.
