A total of 4187 vacancies have been notified out of which 125 vacancies are for SI in Delhi Police (Male) and 61 are for SI in Delhi Police (Female) and the rest of the vacancies i.e.,4001 is reserved for Sub Inspector in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF). SSC CPO Notification 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria required for the SSC CPO Recruitment 2024 are given below which includes Nationality, Age limit, Educational Qualification, Physical standards, etc. Check the details below:

Age Limit:

The Age Limit range is 20 – 25 years. Relaxation in the upper age limit is provided for reserved categories such as SC/ST, OBC, Ex-Servicemen, etc., as per government norms.

Educational Qualification: 

• Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent qualification by the closing date of the application.
• For the post of Sub Inspector (SI) in Delhi Police: Male candidates must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) as on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Measurement Tests.

Physical Standards:

• Candidates must meet the physical standards prescribed by the Staff Selection Commission.
• Physical standards include height, chest, and weight measurements which vary for male and female candidates.

The selection process for SSC CPO is rigorous and competitive, aiming to recruit suitable candidates for the posts of Sub Inspector (SI) in Delhi Police, and Sub Inspector (SI) in CAPFs (Central Armed Police Forces).
