SSC GD Exam Date 2025 Out, Check Exam Schedule, Shift Timing

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially announced the SSC GD Exam Date 2025 on its website @ssc.gov.in. The exam is conducted for candidates applying for GD Constable posts in CAPFs, SSF, Assam Rifles (Rifleman), and Sepoy in NCB.

The selection process includes Computer-Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Medical Examination, and Document Verification. The CBT will consist of 80 questions for 160 marks, covering General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Knowledge & Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, and English/Hindi, with a total duration of 60 minutes and a negative marking of 0.50 marks per wrong answer.

Since the SSC GD 2025 examination is scheduled in a long span of time from 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 and 25 February 2025, it is going to be conducted in four shifts from morning to evening. The commission released a short notice to announce the SSC GD Exam Date 2025 for the computer based test. This year, a total of 39481 vacancies have been announced for the recruitment of General Duty Constable in BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, AR, and SSF forces.

SSC GD Constable Exam Date 2025: Shift Timing

According to the SSC GD Constable Exam Date 2025 and Schedule, the examination is scheduled on 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 and 25 February 2025. The duration of the examination is quite long; therefore, it will be held in 4 different shifts throughout the day. Starting with the morning shift on 9 AM, the shifts will end with the last shift from 5.15 to 6.15 PM. The candidates who applied for the offered posts of Constable can download their call letter using their registration number and password or date of birth. SSC GD 2025 Exam Pattern

To qualify the SSC GD 2025 examination, the candidates must get familiar with the examination pattern. In the computer-based test, there are 80 multiple choice questions where there have to answer General Intelligence, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, and English/Hindi.

The minimum qualifying marks for the UR category is 30%, for OBC/EWS it is 25%, and for all other categories it is 20%.

To excel in the SSC GD Exam 2025, candidates should thoroughly understand the exam pattern and syllabus, practice previous years’ question papers, and attempt mock tests to improve time management.
