The Central Reserve Police Force has commenced the SSC GD Physical Test 2024 for candidates who have qualified in the SSC GD Computer-based exam. The commission has announced the SSC GD Physical Test Date 2024 on the official website which is scheduled on 23rd September 2024 to 9th November 2024. The SSC GD Admit Card 2024 has also been released on the official website for the eligible candidates. According to the SSC GD Result, a total of 351,176 candidates have been shortlisted for the Physical Test, including 311,736 males and 39,440 females.
SSC GD Physical Test Date 2024 Out
The SSC GD Physical Test 2024 has started from 23rd September 2024 by the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) to assess the physical abilities of the candidates. The qualified candidates will undergo a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and a Physical Standard Test (PST) till 9th November 2024. The PST evaluates parameters such as running time, height, chest measurements, and weight. Meeting these standards is crucial for advancing the recruitment process.
SSC GD Constable Physical Exam 2024: Highlights
The physical test is going to held at various national exam centers to recruit candidates for 26,146 vacancies of General Duty Constables in BSF, CISF, and CRPF. SSC GD Physical Standard Test 2024
The SSC GD Physical Test includes a physical standard test which includes the height and weight of the participating male and female candidates. The candidates must fulfil these eligibilities to qualify for this round of physical tests.
SSC GD Physical Requirements for Male Candidates
Male candidates from the General, SC, and OBC categories need to be at least 170 cm tall. Their chest measurements should include a minimum expansion of 5 cm, with the unexpanded chest measuring at least 80 cm. SSC GD Physical Requirements for Female Candidates
In the SSC GD Physical Standard Test, chest measurements are not taken for female candidates. Female candidates from scheduled tribes must be at least 150 cm tall, while those from the general and OBC categories need to have a minimum height of 157 cm.

SSC GD Physical Eligibility Test (PET) 2024
The commission will hold the SSC GD Physical Efficiency Test 2024 after the PST is completed. Candidates from Ladakh or any other region will need to finish the race within the specified time limits for both female and male candidates.

Male candidates from the Ladakh region need to complete a 1.6 km run in 7 minutes. For candidates from other regions, it’s a 5 km race that must be finished within 24 minutes.

SSC GD Medical Examination Document Required
Candidates who qualify for the SSC GD Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will advance to the Detailed Medical Examination (DME). During the DME, various documents will be scrutinized to verify the eligibility and authenticity of the candidates. Here are the details of the required documents:
1. Matriculation/Secondary Examination Certificate
- Purpose: To validate the candidate’s age, name, and educational qualification.
2. Domicile Certificate/Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC)
- Issued by: Authorized competent authority.
- Purpose: To authenticate the candidate’s place of residence.
3. Valid NCC Certificate (if applicable)
- Purpose: To verify the candidate’s participation in the National Cadet Corps (NCC), potentially providing additional benefits or considerations during the selection process.
SSC GD Physical Test 2024 Result
The SSC GD Physical Test Result 2024 will be announced by the Staff Selection Commission. Candidates who pass the PET/PST will move on to the Detailed Medical Examination and Document Verification. The SSC GD physical test result for 2024 will list the category-wise breakdown of candidates provisionally shortlisted for the DME/DV, based on their performance in the online exam and their qualification in the physical test.
What is Next After SSC GD Physical Test?
The SSC GD 2024 Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and Document Verification (DV) will be carried out by the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). after the physical tests are concluded. Shortlisted candidates will undergo medical examinations conducted by Medical Boards set up by the CAPFs. The DME will assess candidates’ physical and medical fitness according to the Uniform Guidelines for Recruitment Medical Examination for Group ‘A’ and ‘B’ officers in CAPFs and AR.
