SSC GD Exam Pattern 2025
Candidates who are going to appear in the Constable Exam should be aware of the SSC GD Syllabus and exam pattern. For Each correct question, candidates will get 2 marks and for each wrong question, there is a penalty of .25 marks. Candidates have 1 hour to complete the exam.
- The Computer-Based Test (CBT) is available in English, Hindi, and 13 regional languages: Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
- The GD exam consists of 4 sections with a total of 80 questions.

SSC GD Constable Physical Efficiency Test
After passing the written exam candidates need to appear for the physical efficiency test (PET). All the candidates need to pass the PET exam otherwise their candidature will be cancelled.

SSC GD Constable Physical Standard Test
Candidates who pass the written exam candidates need to appear for the physical standard test (PST) along with the PET exam. The candidate who fails to qualify for the PST their candidature will be cancelled.

SSC GD Medical Test
After qualifying for the physical standard and efficiency test (PET/PST) candidates will be called for the Medical examination. The medical standard is given in the table below. If you fail the medical exam you will be given one more chance to get yourself medical fit.
