SSC MTS 2024 Exam Date
The SSC MTS 2024 Exam Date for Paper 1 (Computer-based Exam) has been mentioned in the SSC Calendar 2024. The SSC MTS Paper 1 is scheduled to be conducted in October-November 2024 tentatively. The exact exam date and admit card for the same will be announced shortly in due course of time.

SSC MTS 2024 Application Fee
The online application fee for the SSC MTS exam is an essential step in completing the online application process. You need to pay Rs. 100/- as the fee to successfully submit the application form. The application fee can be paid through Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card, Payment wallets, and UPI IDs.
The fee amount varies depending on the category to which the candidate belongs, with concessions available for certain groups as per government norms. No application fee is required for SC/ST/PWBD/Female Candidates.

SSC MTS 2024 Eligibility Criteria

SSC MTS Age Limit
For the MTS post, candidates should be a minimum of 18 years old but not older than 25 years old. In the case of the Havaldar post, candidates must not exceed 27 years of age. Check the table below for more details.

SSC MTS Educational Qualification

SSC MTS Selection Process
There are two stages in the SSC MTS Selection Process such as a Computer-based Objective Type Paper and Physical Standard and Efficiency Test.
- SSC MTS Paper 1: It consists of two sessions and the exam is a computer-based Test.
- Physical Efficiency Test/Physical Standard Test: This is mandatory for the Havaldar post only.
- Document Verification: The final stage is document verification in which certificates will be verified and a final merit list of selected candidates will be announced.
SSC MTS 2024 Exam Pattern
The SSC MTS 2024 Paper I will be held in 15 distinct languages, excluding the English section. The Computer-Based Examination will be divided into two sessions, namely Session-I and Session-II, both of which are compulsory for all candidates to attempt. Failure to participate in any session will result in disqualification of the candidate.
In Session 1, there will be two papers- Numerical and Mathematical Ability and Reasoning Ability and Problem-Solving. No negative marking will be there in this session.
In Session 2, there will be a penalty of 1 mark for each incorrect answer and the subjects included are- General Awareness and English Language. Check the marks distribution for each session below.

SSC MTS 2024 Answer Key
After the CBT Exam is conducted within a week the officials release the SSC MTS Answer Key. The answer key is used to evaluate one’s performance in the exam and calculate their expected marks.
SSC MTS 2024 Result
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release the SSC MTS 2024 result online, listing the rank, names, roll numbers, and categories of the candidates. The result will be announced in two parts. First, the names and roll numbers of candidates eligible for the PET/PST for the Havaldar post will be published. After the PET/PST, the final SSC MTS 2024 result will be released.
SSC MTS Salary
The In-hand SSC MTS Salary is Rs. 18000 to Rs. 22000/- per month. This table summarizes the pay band and grade pay along with the corresponding revised pay scale under the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC), represented by the pay level in the pay matrix at Level 1.
