SSC Stenographer Eligibility 2024

Candidates should only apply for the SSC Stenographer Recruitment when they will meet all the eligibility conditions as explained by the SSC in their official notification. There are three sections in Computer Based exam which consists of Reasoning, General Awareness, English Language and comprehension. SSC Stenographer 2024 Selection Process follows four stages as mentioned below. Candidates have to clear all stages.

1. Computer-based test is conducted by the conducting Authority of 200 marks which includes three sections Reasoning, General Awareness and English
2. Shorthand skill test (qualifying in nature)- For Stenographer Group C, the Dictation in English or Hindi lasting 10 minutes at a speed of 100 words per minute (wpm), while for Stenographer Grade ‘D’, the dictation speed is at 80 wpm.
3. Document verification- All the relevant documents should be taken to the main head office to cross check the candidate’s credibility.
4. Medical fitness test: Candidate should be medically fit to take the office’s responsibility.
