WB Police Constable Exam Pattern 2024

Before we get into the WB Police Constable Syllabus, let us first have a look at the preliminary exam pattern. The WB Police Constable Prelims Exam Pattern gives an insight into the sections or subjects that the Exam will have.

The Pre Exam (Screening Test) will be an OMR-based Written Exam which consists of Objective Type questions.
A Preliminary Examination includes General Awareness & General Knowledge, English, Elementary Mathematics, Reasoning & Logical Analysis
A Written Examination consists of a Total of 85 Marks.
There will be a negative marking for each wrong answer in the examination. ¼th of the allotted marks for a particular question will be deducted for each wrong answer.
The total duration of the exam is 60 minutes.

WB Police Constable Personality Test

Those candidates who scored good enough marks to clear the cut off are going to appear for the personality test (interview). This is a personality assessment exam conducted by the WBPRB and the candidates must have to clear the personal interview which is of 15 marks, failing which they will be disqualified.
