Golden Globe Awards 2023: The 80th Golden Globe Awards was conducted on 10th January, 2023 at Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California. Hollywood Foreign Correspondents Association (HFCA) had established the Golden Globe Awards, which was held for the first time on February 11, 1944. This year, the nominees were voted by 96 members and, for the first time, 103 international voters.

Golden Globe Awards 2023: 80-ാമത് ഗോള്‍ഡന്‍ ഗ്ലോബ് പുരസ്‌കാര ചടങ്ങ് 2023 ജനുവരി 10-ന് കാലിഫോർണിയയിലെ ബെവർലി ഹിൽസിലുള്ള ബെവർലി ഹിൽട്ടണിൽ നടന്നു. ഹോളിവുഡ് ഫോറിൻ കറസ്പോണ്ടന്റ്സ് അസോസിയേഷൻ (HFCA) ഗോൾഡൻ ഗ്ലോബ് അവാർഡുകൾ സ്ഥാപിച്ചു. 1944 ഫെബ്രുവരി 11 നാണ് ഇത് ആദ്യമായി നടന്നത്. ഈ വർഷത്തെ നോമിനികളെ 96 അംഗങ്ങളും, 103 അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര വോട്ടർമാരും ചേർന്നാണ് തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തത്. അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര വ്യവസായ സംഘടനകൾ, അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന വിദേശ ചലച്ചിത്രമേളകൾ, ജേർണലിസം പ്രൊഫഷണലുകൾ എന്നിവരിൽ നിന്നാണ് പുതിയ വോട്ടർമാരെ റിക്രൂട്ട് ചെയ്‌തത്. ഈ വൈവിധ്യമാർന്ന വോട്ടിംഗ് ഗ്രൂപ്പ് ലോകമെമ്പാടുമുള്ള 62 വ്യത്യസ്ത രാജ്യങ്ങളെ പ്രതിനിധീകരിക്കുന്നു.

ഹോളിവുഡ് ഫോറിൻ പ്രസ് അസോസിയേഷൻ (HFPA) 1943-ൽ ഹോളിവുഡ് ഫോറിൻ കറസ്പോണ്ടന്റ്സ് അസോസിയേഷൻ (HFCA) എന്ന പേരിൽ സ്ഥാപിതമായി. 1944 ഫെബ്രുവരി 11 നാണ് ഗോള്‍ഡന്‍ ഗ്ലോബ് പുരസ്‌കാര ചടങ്ങ്. ആദ്യമായി നടന്നത്.
1950-ലെ വേനൽക്കാലത്ത് ഒരു കൂട്ടം പത്രപ്രവർത്തകർ HFCA-യിൽ നിന്ന് പിന്മാറുകയും അവർ ഫോറിൻ പ്രസ് അസോസിയേഷൻ ഓഫ് ഹോളിവുഡ് (FPAH) രൂപീകരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. 1955 ഒക്ടോബർ 19-ന്, HFPA-യും FPAH-ഉം ഹോളിവുഡ് ഫോറിൻ പ്രസ് അസോസിയേഷൻ (HFPA) എന്ന പേരിൽ ഔദ്യോഗികമായി ലയിച്ചു.
1953-ൽ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ച പത്താം വാർഷിക സുവനീർ ബുക്ക്‌ലെറ്റിൽ പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ, അവരുടെ മുദ്രാവാക്യം “മതത്തിന്റെയും വംശത്തിന്റെയും വിവേചനരഹിതമായ ഐക്യം” എന്നതായിരുന്നു.

എസ് എസ് രാജമൗലിയുടെ “ആർആർആർ” എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ “നാട്ടു നാട്ടു” എന്ന ഗാനത്തിന് ഇന്ത്യ ആദ്യമായി ഗോൾഡൻ ഗ്ലോബ് പുരസ്കാരം സ്വന്തമാക്കി. RRR എന്ന ചിത്രം ‘മികച്ച ചിത്രം-നോൺ ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് ‘ വിഭാഗത്തിലും നാമനിർദ്ദേശം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടു. എന്നിരുന്നാലും, സാൻറ്റിയാഗോ മിത്രേയുടെ “അർജന്റീന, 1985” എന്ന ചിത്രം, വിദേശ ഭാഷയിലെ മികച്ച ചിത്രത്തിനുള്ള അവാർഡ് കരസ്ഥമാക്കി.
