36th National Games: 36th National Games was organized in 6 major cities across Gujarat this year. Gujarat hosted the 36th National Games. Gujarat is hosting the National Games for the first time. 36th National Games was held in 6 famous cities of Gujarat namely Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot and Bhavnagar. There were 36 sports events. The team represented by the Indian Armed Forces “Services” won the for the fourth time.

36th National Games: 36-ാമത് ദേശീയ ഗെയിംസ് 2022 ഒക്ടോബർ 12 ന് സമാപിച്ചു. ഇന്ത്യൻ സായുധ സേനയുടെ കായിക ടീമായ സെർവിസെസ്, 28 ഇന്ത്യൻ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും, 8 കേന്ദ്ര ഭരണ പ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നുമായി ഏകദേശം 7,000 അത്‌ലറ്റുകൾ 36 വ്യത്യസ്ത കായിക ഇനങ്ങളിൽ മത്സരിച്ചു. 61 സ്വർണവും 35 വെള്ളിയും 32 വെങ്കലവുമടക്കം 128 മെഡലുകളോടെ 2022ലെ ദേശീയ ഗെയിംസിൽ സർവീസസ് ടീം ജേതാക്കളായി. രാജാ ഭലീന്ദ്ര സിംഗ് ട്രോഫി തുടർച്ചയായി നാലാം തവണയും സർവീസസിന്റെ ടീമിന് ലഭിച്ചു. മെഡൽ പട്ടികയിൽ രണ്ടാം സ്ഥാനത്തെത്തിയതിന് ഇന്ത്യൻ ഒളിമ്പിക് അസോസിയേഷന്റെ മികച്ച സംസ്ഥാന ട്രോഫി മഹാരാഷ്ട്ര സ്വന്തമാക്കി. അടുത്ത വർഷം ഒക്ടോബറിൽ നടക്കുന്ന ദേശീയ ഗെയിംസിന്റെ 37-ാമത് എഡിഷൻ ഗോവയിൽ നടക്കുമെന്ന് ഇന്ത്യൻ ഒളിമ്പിക് അസോസിയേഷൻ സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചു.
