National Organizations and their Headquarters: संघटन म्हणजे समाजातील माणसांचा समूह बनविणे. सामाजिक जीवन सुरळित चालविण्यामागे दोन मूलभूत तत्त्वे दडलेली आहेत. संघटनात्मक जीवन जगणे, हे त्यातील प्रमुख तत्त्व होय. तसेच परस्परसंबंधांची आणि विचारांची देवाणघेवाण हे दुसरे तत्त्व होय. त्यातूनच सामाजिक संघटना विकसित होत जातात. संघटनांचे उद्दिष्ट, दिशा आणि मार्ग यांनी निश्चित केलेले असते. यांत सभासदांनी सहकार्य करण्याचे तत्त्व स्वेच्छेने स्वीकारलेले असते. त्यांच्यातील समन्वय संघटनेला पूरक ठरतो. एरवी सक्ती करून समन्वय साधण्याचा प्रयत्न केल्यास संघटना यशस्वी होईलच याची खात्री नसते; कारण अशा सक्तीने स्वयंप्रेरणा होत नाहीत. म्हणून समाजरचनेतील संघटनांचा विकास पूर्ण नियोजित असला तरच पुढचे कार्य सुलभ होते.
