2016-17 ରେ ବିଦ୍ୟମାନ ନେଟୱାର୍କରେ 489 କିଲୋମିଟର ଜାତୀୟ ରାଜପଥ (NH) ଯୋଡିବାକୁ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାର ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ରଖିଛନ୍ତି। 2014-15 ଏବଂ 2015-16 ମଧ୍ୟରେ, ରାଜ୍ୟରେ NH ର 867.39 କିଲୋମିଟର ବିକାଶ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା |
ବୁଧବାର ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ଏକ ଉଚ୍ଚ ସ୍ତରୀୟ ସମୀକ୍ଷା ବୈଠକରେ ଜଣାପଡିଛି ଯେ 22 ଟି ଜାତୀୟ ରାଜପଥ ରାସ୍ତାର ନାମ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ ପରେ ଓଡିଶା ଦେଇ ଯାଉଛି। ଏହି ଉଚ୍ଚ ଉପାୟରେ NH-16, 18, 20, 26, 49, 53, 55, 57, 59, 63,130C, 143, 149, 153B, 157, 220, 316, 326, 326A, 353, 516 & 520 ରାଜ୍ୟ ଦେଇ ଚାଲୁଥିବା ଏହି ସଡକଗୁଡିକର ମୋଟ ଦୌର୍ଘ୍ୟ ପ୍ରାୟ 4,849.42 କିଲୋମିଟର ଅଟେ ଯେଉଁଥିରୁ ମୋଟ 3,387 କିଲୋମିଟର ରାସ୍ତା ରାଜ୍ୟ ଜନ works କ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ବିଭାଗ (PWD) କୁ ଦିଆଯାଇଛି ଏବଂ 1,462.42 କିଲୋମିଟର ବିକାଶ ପାଇଁ ଜାତୀୟ ରାଜପଥ ପ୍ରାଧିକରଣ (NHAI) କୁ ଦିଆଯାଇଛି। ।

ଆନ୍ଧ୍ରପ୍ରଦେଶ, ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଏବଂ ଛତିଶଗଡକୁ ସଂଯୋଗ କରୁଥିବା ଭିଜାଗରୁ ଜଗଦଲପୁର ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ NH ର ବିକାଶ ଉପରେ ମୁଖ୍ୟ ଶାସନ ସଚିବ ଆଦିତ୍ୟ ପ୍ରସାଦ ପାଦୀ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱାରୋପ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଏହି ରାସ୍ତାଟି ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ସୁଙ୍କି-କୋରାପୁଟ-ଜୟପୁର-ନାବ୍ରାଙ୍ଗୁର-ବୁରିଗୁମା-କୋଟପାଦ ଦେଇ ଯାଇଥାଏ। ଅଗ୍ରଗତି ଚାଲିଛି | ପ୍ରାୟ 243 କିଲୋମିଟର ପାଇଁ ଟେଣ୍ଡର ପ୍ରକ୍ରିୟା ଶେଷ ହୋଇଛି ଏବଂ 596 କିଲୋମିଟର ବିକାଶ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପଗୁଡିକ ପାଇପଲାଇନରେ ଅଛି | କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଶେଷ କରିବାକୁ ମାସିକ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ସ୍ଥିର କରିବାକୁ ମୁଖ୍ୟ ସଚିବ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱାରୋପ କରିଛନ୍ତି।କେନ୍ଦ୍ରୀୟ ସଡକ ପାଣ୍ଠି ଅଧୀନରେ ଆନୁମାନିକ 1,047 କୋଟି ଟଙ୍କା ବ୍ୟୟ ଅଟକଳ ସହିତ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସଡକ ଓ ରାଜପଥ ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣାଳୟକୁ 44 ଟି ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପ ଦାଖଲ କରିଛି ଯେଉଁଥିରୁ ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣାଳୟ 400.97 କୋଟି ଟଙ୍କା ମୂଲ୍ୟର 12 ଟି ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପକୁ ମହଜୁଦରୀ ଦେଇଛି।
