The Rajasthan Police SI exam consists of multiple stages:
Written Examination:
- General Hindi: 2 hours, 200 marks
- General Knowledge & General Science: 2 hours, 200 marks
- Minimum qualifying marks: 36% in each paper and an overall aggregate of 40%. SC/ST candidates have a 5% relaxation.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
- Candidates who clear the written exam proceed to the PET.
- PET is conducted for 100 marks.
- Minimum qualifying marks: 50%
- Male: Minimum height 168 cm, chest 81 cm (with 5 cm expansion)
- Female: Minimum height 157 cm
Aptitude Test and Interview:
- The next stage after the PET is the aptitude test and interview.
- The aptitude test is for 50 marks.
- The interview assesses the candidate's overall suitability for the role.
Medical Test:
- Candidates who clear the interview and aptitude test undergo a medical examination to ensure they meet the physical and medical standards.
Selection Process
Written Exam:
- Consists of two papers (General Hindi and General Knowledge & General Science).
- Each paper is 200 marks and lasts for 2 hours.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
- Male and Female candidates must meet the physical standards set by the board.
- PET includes various physical activities like running, long jump, etc.
Aptitude Test and Interview:
- After clearing PET, candidates appear for the aptitude test and interview.
- The aptitude test is of 50 marks.
Medical Examination:
- A medical test is conducted to ensure candidates are medically fit for the role.
