The National Law University (NLU) Delhi holds the prestigious Law entrance exam AILET every year once to admit aspiring candidates to its campus. The examination is one of the two major law exams for admission into an integrated 5-year law program, the other being CLAT. NLU Delhi on May 27 announced the AILET 2025 exam date. The AILET 2025 Exam Date notification issued by NLU Delhi reads, “The National Law University, Delhi, will conduct the “All India Law Entrance Test- 2025 (AILET-2025)” for admission to the Five-Year B.A.LL.B. (Hons.), LL.M., and Ph.D. programs for the Academic Year 2025-26 on December 8, 2024 (Sunday) from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at all India level”. The All India legal Entrance Test 2025 is a national entrance exam that is exclusively offered to NLU Delhi students seeking admission to legal schools. The National Law University Delhi will admit students to its BA LLB, LLM, and PhD in Law programmes using the AILET 2025. AILET 2025 Registration Date

The AILET application form 2025 will be made available by NLU Delhi on August 01, 2024. After the release of the application form, the registration begins on the official website. Only online application submission is accepted for the AILET exam. The AILET exam, however, is conducted in offline mode. The steps involved in applying for AILET 2025 exam will include registration, completing a thorough application form, submitting supporting documentation, and paying an application fee, among other things.

AILET 2025 Registration Last Date

While the IALET 2025 exam registration start date has been mentioned by NLU Delhi, there is no mention of the end date yet. The AILET 2025 registration last date generally comes around 3 and half months after the availability of the application form. The AILET 2025 registration is expected to continue until the second week of November 2024. Candidates will have to pay the requisite application fee on or before the AILET 2025 registration last date.

AILET 2025 Registration Fees

Candidates who want to submit their AILET exam application form, they will have to pay the requisite registration fees. The registration fees vary according to the category of the applicants. Currently we do not have any information regarding the AILET 2025 exam fees. But is is expected that the AILT 2025 registration fees will remain same like the last year. AILET Exam Eligibility 2025

Candidates are requested to first check the eligibility of the AILET exam before filling up the application form. The eligibility criteria for the BA LLB, LLM and PhD courses is given below.

AILET Eligibility Criteria for BA LLB Program

The AILET exam eligibility requirements for the 5-year integrated law program is given below.

• If you fall under the General category, you have to have passed the test and received at least 45% of the possible marks in your Class XII or equivalent.
• You need to receive at least 40% of the possible marks in your Higher Secondary test if you belong to the SC, ST, or Persons with Disabilities group.
• Foreign nationals must have passed the Higher Secondary School Examination (also known as the 10+2) with at least 65% of the possible marks, or a comparable exam.
• You can still apply and take the test even if you’re waiting on your Class XII results.
• There is no upper age bar to apply for the exam

AILET Eligibility Requirements for LLM Course

• An applicant must have earned an LL.B. or an equivalent degree from an accredited university with at least 50% of the possible marks (45% for SC/ST/Persons with Disability category) in order to be eligible to apply for the LL.M. Program.
• Candidates waiting for their LLB result are also eligible for the exam.
• There is no upper age limit criteria for AILET exam.

AILET Exam 2025 Eligibility Criteria for PhD program

• To apply for the PhD program, applicants must have completed their LLM program from a recognized educational institution.
• Applicants in their final year of LLM are also eligible to apply
• There is no upper age limit applicable for this course

AILET Exam Pattern 2025

Previously, National Law University, Delhi altered the AILET Exam Pattern for the BA LLB course. As a result, you can fairly estimate the quantity of questions from each section, the marking system, and the degree of exam difficulty by familiarizing yourself with the paper pattern. There will only be three sections on the question paper because the exam format is anticipated to be similar to that of the previous year.

The three sections include Current Events and General Knowledge, English Language, and Logical Reasoning. There will be a total of 150 questions in the exam. The time limit for the exam will be 120 minutes, i.e., 2 hours. Candidates will get 1 mark for every correct answer while -0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
