AP EAMCET 2025

The AP EAMCET 2025 is being conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK) on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). The JNTUK will begin AP EAMCET 2025 registration process from March. The AP EAMCET registration link is made available on the official website. What is AP EAMCET Exam?

On behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTUK) administers the state-level AP EAMCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test).

Every year, a test is administered to candidates seeking admission to undergraduate programs in engineering, agriculture, and medicine in Andhra Pradesh’s colleges and universities. It is expected that the JNTUK will rename the AP EAMCET exam to AP EAPCET exam just like the JNTUH did for the TS EAMCET exam.

The online exam date for the AP EAMCET 2025 will be published by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) along with the notification. The AP EAMCET 2025 Exam is expected to be held in May 2025. The EAMCET 2025 Andhra Pradesh will be held in online mode at different exam centers across the state.

The AP EAMCET exam will be held in two sessions for 3 hours each. The morning session exam will be held from 9 AM to 12 PM while the afternoon session AP EAPCET 2025 exam will be conducted from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

AP EAMCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must go through the eligibility criteria before filling out the AP EAMCET application form. The eligibility criteria is provided below in detail for the AP EAMCET 2025 exam.

• Only Indian Nationals, Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), and Overseas citizens of India (OCI) Card Holders are eligible to appear for AP EAMCET.
• Candidates should be a resident of Andhra Pradesh or Telangana state.
• There is no maximum age limit; however, applicants for engineering and pharmacy programs must be at least 16 years old as of December 31, 2025, the year of admission.
• Candidates for the B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Agr. Engineering), B.Tech. (FS & T), and B.Sc. (Agr. Engg) programs must be at least 17 years old as of December 31, 2025. The maximum age limit is 25 years for SC/ST candidates and 22 years for all candidates as of December 31, 2025.
• Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam in the relevant subjects. The qualifying marks is 45% for general candidates and 40% for reserved candidates.
• Candidates studying in class 12 or equivalent who are going to take the board exam are also eligible to apply.

AP EAMCET 2025 Weightage

For ranking reasons, the AP EAMCET Exam is worth 25% of a possible 100 points. Candidates’ scores from the 12th grade exam and the EAMCET are used to determine how candidates are ranked when they are assigned to universities and institutions. The weighting for the AP EAMCET is 75:25 for both exam and EAMCET scores. It is expected that the weightage will remain the same like the last year.
