The APAAR card is kind of a ‘One Nation One Student ID‘. This student ID card was proposed in the National Education Policy (NEP) in 2020. In this system, all the students will have a Unique Student ID Number. Through this ID, the authority will store and transfer a student’s academic information digitally. This initiative monitors students’ academic progress and supports a smooth transition between educational institutions.

How to Complete APAAR ID Card Registration?

To create your APAAR ID card follow the instructions –

Step 1: Visit the Academic Bank of Credits’ (ABC Bank) website.
Step 2: Click on ‘My Account’ and then ‘Student’.
Step 3: Sign up on DigiLocker by entering your cellphone number, address, and Aadhaar card information.
Step 4: Log in to DigiLocker using your credentials.
Step 5: DigiLocker will request permission to share Aadhaar details with ABC for verification.
Step 6: Fill in academic information such as school or university name and course details.
Step 7: Submit the form to generate the APAAR ID card.
Step 8: How to Download the APAAR ID Card?
Step 9: Log in to the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC Bank) website.
Step 10: On the dashboard, select the ‘APAAR card download’ option.
Step 11: The APAAR card will appear on the screen.
Step 12: Click on the download or print option to save a copy of the card.
