BHU Admission 2024
BHU Admissions 2024 are currently ongoing for PG courses like MA, M.Sc, M.Com, MCA, MBA (Agri-business), M.Tech, etc., based on CUET PG scores. Along with this, the admission process for the UG courses have also been started by releasing the application form for registration.
Candidates should note that to take admission into UG courses offered at BHU, candidates must have appeared for CUET UG exam and for PG courses, candidates must have taken the CUET PG exam.
BHU Admission: Overview
BHU is referred to as Banaras Hindu University. The Varanasi-based Banaras Hindu University is a revered centre of learning on a global scale. The famous nationalist leader Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya established this creative and forward-thinking university in 1916. There are 140 departments, 16 streams, 5 institutes, a women’s college, and 3 constituent schools at BHU University.
Before 2022, BHU University administered the UET and PET exams for BHU Admission; however, starting in 2022, admission will be available through the CUET (Common University Entrance Test).
Now, the BHU Admission 2024 will be administered by CUET (UG) 2024. Undergraduate programs at the university include BBA, B.Sc.,B. Tech, B.Com, BCA, and others. Postgraduate programs offered at BHU include LLM, MFA, MBA, MTech, and MA.
BHU UG Round 3 Seat Allotment Result 2024
The Banaras Hindu University has declared the BHU UG round 3 seat allotment result online on university’s official website on August 27. According to the official notice, students can make payment through the online admission portal until August 30, 2024. If a candidate does not submit the admission fee within the given time frame, their allotted seat will be canceled.
This indicates that the candidate will not retain the assigned seat, will not be included in any more allocation rounds, and will give up all privileges related to the assigned seat. After payment is made for the assigned seat in any round, the candidate can choose to “Freeze” the seat they want. Choosing “Freeze” indicates agreement with the program + faculty/college the candidates are accepted to. This seat is permanent and cannot be altered afterwards.

BHU PG Admission 2024
The Banaras Hindu University has concluded the registration process for BHU PG programs. The University recently released the spot round 2 cut off on the official website. BHU Admission 2024 Notification
The Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has released the BHU Admission 2024 Notification for admission into various undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs in the form of an information bulletin. BHU Admission 2024 registration for undergraduate courses is currently ongoing.

The BHU UG admission 2024 registration process is currently underway. The candidates have been given the time up to August 12 to fill out the registration form and submit the application for the admission.
Candidates can fill the BHU UG admission 2024 form using the CUET UG application number and their date of birth. After the registration process is over, the BHU will release the merit list for admission.

BHU Admission 2024 through CUET
According to the recently announced BHU admission 2024 Notification, students must take the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG 2024) to be accepted for BHU admission 2024. The Common University Entrance is held by the Ministry of Education for admission to all UG programs at all Central Universities for the academic year 2024–2024.
Applicants who didn’t appear for CUET won’t be taken into account for any programs offered through BHU admission 2024. The BHU admission for 2024 will be decided based on registration at the BHU portal and the CUET (UG) 2024 marks given by the NTA in the pertinent course.
BHU Law Entrance Exam 2024
The BHU no longer holds the separate law exam for admission into its 5-year and 3-year law programs. The admission to BHU law courses is now done through CUET exam. So, the law entrance exam of BHU has been scrapped. Now student who want to take admission into BHU LLB courses must have taken the CUET 2024 in the required subjects.
BHU Minimum Qualifying Score in CUET 2024
Applicants will be chosen for admission in these programs in order of merit based on their performance in the NTA’s CUET 2024 entrance exam, providing they meet the test’s minimal requirements for eligibility and minimum passing scores.,” according to the BHU admission 2024 notification.

- Not less than 35% of the marks achieved by the topper of the relevant categories in the concerned admission test for General, OBC category students;
- Not less than 25% of the marks acquired by the topper of the concerned categories in the concerned entrance test for SC, ST category candidates.
Many courses in the university’s UG program have more than one component of assessment in the admission examination. Entrance to such program will be based on a composite merit consisting of entrance exam marks and additional entrance test evaluation components.
