Bihar Board Class 10 Science Question Paper 2024: Pattern

The Bihar Board Class 10 Science question paper 2024 consists of two sections: Section A and Section B
The section A consists of objective-type questions while the section B consists of subjective-type questions.
There are 80 multiple choice questions in Section-A, of which 40 must be answered. Every question is worth one mark.
Only the answers to the first 40 questions will be considered if a candidate responds to more than 40 questions.
To respond to these objective questions, students should use a blue or black ballpoint pen to shade the circle next to the correct response on the OMR Answer Sheet that has been given to them. On the OMR Answer Sheet, do not use any kind of whitener, liquid, blade, nail, etc.; if you do, the results will be deemed void.
There are 24 questions of the short answer type in Section-B. Of them, eight come from the fields of physics, eight from chemistry, and eight from biology. Each subject has four questions that need to be answered (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology). Every question is worth two marks.
Six Long Answer-style questions are also included in Section B, two from each of the following subjects: biology, chemistry, and physics. The Long Answer Type question in Physics is worth six marks, while questions in Chemistry and Biology are for five marks.
Candidates must answer one long answer question from each of the three subjects-physics, chemistry, and biology.

BSEB Class 10 Science Question Paper Design 2024

The Bihar Board Class 10 Science question paper is divided into three domains: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The MCQ part contains questions from each of the domains while the descriptive part contains a fixed amount of questions from each of the domains. There ae equal number of questions from each of the physics, chemistry, and biology in 2 marks short answer-type questions (8 each). Of all the questions, students need to answer 4 from each domain.

The BSEB 10th Science question paper contains 6 long answer type questions, two from each domain. Candidates should compulsorily answer one question from each of the three domains. In the long answer type question section, the physics question is worth 6 marks while the biology and chemistry questions are worth 5 marks each.
