IIM CAT Answer Key 2024 Released, Download CAT Response Sheet PDF At iimcat.ac.in

The Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, released the IIM CAT Answer Key 2024 on November 29, 2024. The authority has also issued the students’ response sheet. Candidates who took the Common Admission Test (CAT) can examine and get the answer key from the official IIM CAT website, iimcat.ac.in. IIM CAT Answer Key 2024

Approximately 2.93 lakh students were eagerly awaiting the release of the IIM CAT Answer Key 2024. The examination was held on November 24, 2024. The CAT 2024 exam was held in three shifts across 170 cities. The exams were conducted in three shifts. The first shift began at 8:30 a.m. and lasted until 10:30 a.m.; the second shift began at 12:30 p.m. and lasted until 2:30 p.m.; and the evening shift began at 4:30 p.m.

The answer key of CAT 2024 Exam contains all correct answers, which helps aspirants to project their CAT percentile score. This will allow the candidate to check their answers and assess their grades. After this, candidates will be able to subject their object to any wrong answer. After analysing all the objections the CAT Final Answer will be revealed. The CAT Results are expected to be published in the First Week of January 2025.

CAT Response Sheet 2024

The CAT Response Sheet 2024 is the document where the student’s answers are marked by candidates while taking the exam. The right answer will be marked with a green tick mark. If the candidate’s answer is right, a green tick mark will appear next to the option on the response sheet. Raise Objection to the IIM CAT Answer key

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow, allows applicants to raise objections to the Answer Key Candidates can also file objections to the official CAT Answer Key via the IIM’s official website. The option for challenging the official CAT 2024 answer key will be available for 2-3 days. Candidates who want to raise objections will have to pay a processing fee for each objection they raise. The price for the CAT 2024 Answer Key Challenge is INR 1200 per question. Candidates whose objections are accepted will receive a refund of their fees.

How to Challenge the CAT 2024 Answer Key

Candidates who desire to submit objections concerning the answer key might use the following steps:

Step 1: Visit the official website of IIM CAT at iimcat.ac.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, Click on the link to access the CAT 2024 answer key objection window.
Step 3: Log in using your application number and date of birth.
Step 4: On the candidate’s portal’s homepage, click the “Objection Form” link.
Step 5: Enter information such as the question number, section, and type of objection that a candidate wishes to raise. None of the options are correct. More than one option is correct. The answer key is incorrect.
Step 6: Pay the needed sum as displayed on the screen, up to Rs. 1200 per question.
Step 7: Keep the payment receipt for future use.

CAT Answer Key and Marking Scheme

while calculating the CAT Score using the answer key, candidates must be well-versed in the CAT marking Scheme. The CAT exam has three sections: verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DI LR), and Quantitative Ability (QA). Each section has its own time limit, and candidates are not permitted to switch between portions throughout the exam. The exam lasts 2 hours and 120 minutes in total.

The exam consisted of 66 questions. There were 24 in Section I, or Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), 20 in Section II, or Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and 22 in Section III, or Quantitative Ability (QA). Each correct answer receives three marks, while each incorrect response receives one marks deduction from the total.
