The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has set up the CBSE 10th and 12th Board Exams for February 15, 2025. In a recent press release, it is mentioned that the CBSE has made substantial changes to the CBSE Answer Sheet 2025 to ensure fairness and reduce the likelihood of cheating and other unethical activities. All students taking the tests must be aware of these significant changes made in the CBSE Board Exam 2025 Answer Sheet to minimize confusion and guarantee a smooth examination process.

In order to make the CBSE Board Exam 2025 more transparent and limit the likelihood of misconduct, the Board has made a number of critical changes to the CBSE Answer Sheet 2025. These modifications aim to improve exam security and streamline the procedure for both students and examiners. Here’s an overview of the significant changes that are made in the CBSE 10th 12th Answer Sheet 2025

• Introduction of unique QR codes in CBSE answer sheets

To counteract cheating, the CBSE has decided to include a unique QR code on each student’s answer sheet. This will aid in tracking and validating the authenticity of the papers while also discouraging any unfair exam methods.

• Instructions for Question Number Placement

A noteworthy change is the requirement for pupils to write question numbers only in the margins of their answer sheets. Question numbers should not be written in any other area of the sheet, including the center. This technique guarantees that all answer sheets are in a clear and standard format.

• No marking or writing on Question Paper

As per the guidelines, there should be no marking or writing on the question paper. The Board has made it clear that students may not mark or write on the question paper. All rough work should be completed in the margins on the right side of the page. Any rough work completed in other areas of the answer sheet or question paper will not be considered.

• New guidelines for rough work

The revised instructions state that rough work should be written solely in the margin on the right side of the page. After finishing the rough work, pupils are instructed to cross it out. This replaces the prior guideline of leaving a sufficient margin for rough work, ensuring that the answer sheets stay tidy and organized.

• Strict Enforcement Against Unfair Practices

The CBSE has cautioned students that unfair practices (UFM) will not be allowed. Students found guilty of cheating, utilizing technological devices, or indulging in any other type of misconduct will face harsh punishment. According to the official notification, students who engage in unfair practices will have their tests canceled immediately and will be prevented from taking CBSE exams for the following two years.
