The Central Board of Secondary Education is scheduled to start the Class 10th and 12th Board Examinations for the academic year 2024-25 from today February 15, 2025. CBSE Board Exams 2025 are set to begin on February 15, 2025, for both secondary and senior secondary classes. This year, around 44 lakh students are anticipated to take the CBSE Board Examinations 2025 in 7842 test venues across India and 26 locations abroad.
As per the CBSE Date sheet 2025, Class 10 students will take the English (Communicative) and English (Language and Literature) tests on the first day, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. During the same shift, students in grade 12 will take the Entrepreneurship paper. The board released a statement on exam ethics, outlining the dress code, objects authorized and prohibited in the exam hall, unfair methodology practices (UFMs), and sanctions.

Check the guidelines below to ensure that you don’t neglect any crucial recommendations while taking the CBSE Board Exams 2025:
- Carry Admit Card and ID Proof: Students must bring their CBSE Admit Card 2025, which is required for admittance. A School ID Card is also necessary for identification purposes.
- Stationery Rules: According to CBSE requirements, all stationery items such as pens, pencils, erasers, and geometry boxes must be stored in a clear pouch.
- Water Bottle: Students may bring a transparent water bottle to stay hydrated during the exam.
Reach Early: To prevent a last-minute rush, arrive at the exam center 30-45 minutes before the start time. - Restricted goods: Mobile phones, smartwatches, electronic gadgets, and other prohibited goods are not permitted inside.
- Follow Dress Code: Students must wear their school uniforms to the board exams.
Check Seating Plan: Once you arrive at the center, verify the seating arrangement on the notice board and proceed to your assigned room. - Reading Time: Students will have 15 minutes before the exam to carefully review the question paper. Recognize the paper layout, grading scheme, and time allocation.
- Writing Guidelines: Only blue or black ink pens should be used to complete answer sheets.
No malpractice: Any unfair means or misbehavior may result in disqualification from the exam. - Maintain Discipline: To ensure that the exam goes smoothly, students should remain quiet, focused, and disciplined.
