The class 11 sociology syllabus 2024-25 has been issued by the CBSE for 2024-25. Sociology is a branch of social science that studies society. The CBSE Sociology curriculum for 11th grade students aims to enable students to relate classroom teaching to their outside environment, to introduce them to basic sociology concepts that will enable them to observe and interpret social life. Class 11 Sociology Syllabus 2024-25

The class 11 sociology syllabus is designed to teach students to be aware of the complexity of social processes, to appreciate diversity in Indian society and the world at large, and to build students’ capacity to understand and analyse changes in contemporary society. CBSE Class 11 Sociology Syllabus 2024-25 Question paper design

Part A and Part B of the CBSE Class 11 Sociology Syllabus 2024-25 question paper design are separated. Part A consists of 40 multiple-choice questions, each worth one point. Part B consists of 20 short answer questions, each worth two points. The total number of points for the question paper is 100.
