CBSE Full Form is Central Board of Secondary Education. CBSE board full form in Hindi is “केंद्रीय माध्यमिक शिक्षा बोर्ड “. It is an Indian Board of Education for private and public schools.

CBSE Full Form

CBSE ( Central Board of Secondary Education) has a total number of 20, 299 schools and 220 CBSE-affiliated schools. The Board came into existence in 1962. CBSE Schools have both, Hindi and English as the means of communication language, Hindi and English. In 1921, the first educational board to be set up was the Uttar Pradesh Board of High School and Intermediate Education. In 1929, the Rajputana Board too came into existence.

What is the Full Form of CBSE: History

Central Board of Secondary Education is the Full form of CBSE. The Uttar Pradesh Board of High School and Intermediate Education, which was governed by Rajputana, Central India, and Gwalior, was the first educational board to be established in India in 1921. A joint body known as the Rajputana Board of High School and Intermediate Education was founded by the Indian government in 1929.

Exams Conducted by CBSE

Here is a list of all exams that are conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education.

  • Board Exam – Each year, the CBSE Board conducts final exams for students in class 10 and 12.
  • JEE – Every year, CBSE conducts JEE for admission to undergraduate degrees in architecture and engineering across India.
  • NEET – CBSE also organizes the yearly NEET (National Eligibility and Entrance Test) for admission to major medical institutes across India.
  • NET – CBSE is in charge of appointing professors in colleges and universities through the NET (National Eligibility Test) examination.
  • CTET – It also conducts an annual CTET (Central Teachers Eligibility Test) to recruit instructors for the central educational institution.

Eligibility of CBSE Exams

In India, the Central Board of Education which is the full form of CBSE, can either enroll as a student or as a teacher. Class 10 students take the AISSE test administered by the CBSE, while students in the 12th grade take the AISSCE test. The National Eligibility Test (NET) is an annual teacher recruitment test administered by CBSE.

Class 10 and 12 Exams –

Only enrolled students in schools that are associated with the CBSE are permitted to take the AISSE and AISSCE exams for grades 10 and 12. Students of any creed, caste, religion, sect, economic standing, gender, race, or tribe are permitted to take these tests.

  • the enrolment for CBSE Class 10 Board starts by the end of Class 9. Once the enrolment of all students is completed for a particular school, you are not allowed to take admission for Class 10.
  • In such a situation, you will have to continue from the same Board in which you were previously enrolled. You can however join the CBSE Boards after your Class 10th Results.

NET Exam –

The NET exam is conducted for enrolment to the Central Board of Secondary Education. According to CBSE guidelines, students who earn their Master’s degree in social sciences, humanities, or a related field from a board or university acknowledged by the UGC with an overall percentage of over 55% may sit for the NET exam.

CBSE Class 10th, 12th Grade Points

The CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 Grading System uses a nine-point scale ranging from A1 to E. A1 is the best possible grade, while E represents those who did not pass with the minimum required marks. Students’ grades will be indicated in their results and mark sheets. Grade points are also assigned based on topic marks, which students can use to compute their CGPA or %.

1921 में, स्थापित होने वाला पहला शैक्षिक बोर्ड उत्तर प्रदेश हाई स्कूल और इंटरमीडिएट शिक्षा बोर्ड था। 1929 में राजपूताना बोर्ड भी अस्तित्व में आया।

भारत में केंद्रीय शिक्षा बोर्ड जो कि सीबीएसई का पूर्ण रूप है, आप या तो एक छात्र के रूप में या एक शिक्षक के रूप में नामांकन कर सकते हैं। दोनों पदों की पात्रता मानदंड जानने के लिए नीचे पढ़ें।
