CBSE 10th SST Exam Pattern 2025
The Class 10 SST Sample Paper 2024-25 is divided into a total of 6 sections. Checkout the full question paper pattern below –
- Sections – The question paper sections: A, B, C, D, E, and F. There are 37 questions on the Question paper. All questions are mandatory.
- Section A – Questions 1–20 are MCQs worth 1 mark each.
- Section B – Questions 21–24 are Very Short Answer Type Questions with 2 marks each. Each question’s answer should be no more than 40 words.
- Section C – It contains Short Answer Type Questions (Q.25-Q.29) worth three points each. Each question’s answer should be no more than 60 words.
- Section D – Questions 30–33 are extended answer-type questions with 5 marks each. Each question’s answer should be no more than 120 words.
- Section-E – Questions 34–36 are case-based questions with three sub-questions, each worth four marks. Each question’s answer should be no more than 100 words.
- Section F – Question no. 37 is map-based and worth 5 points, with two parts: 37a from History (2 marks) and 37b from Geography (3 marks).
- Internal Choice – There is no overall choice on the question paper. However, a few queries have included an internal choice. Only one of the options in such queries must be considered.
- Visually impaired applicants – A unique question has been offered for visually impaired applicants in place of questions containing visual inputs, maps, and so on. Such questions should only be asked by visually impaired students. In addition, distinct instructions will be provided wherever it’s important.
