The Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLUs) announced the CLAT counselling 2024 specifics on its official website. The updated CLAT counselling registration dates and CLAT 2024 counselling schedule are included in the announcement. According to the schedule, the counselling registration window is open from December 11. until December 20 On December 10, the Consortium declared the CLAT 2024 result. The only applicants who can attend CLAT counselling are those whose names are on the invite list.

As per the latest announcement, the CLAT 2024 Counselling Registration will take place from December 11 to December 20, 2023, in accordance with the updated CLAT Counseling Dates 2024. Prior to this, December 22, 2023, was the deadline for completing the CLAT Counselling Registration 2024.

The CLAT Counselling process for the year 2024 has been initiated after the declaration of the official result. On December 10, the CLAT Result 2024 was made available for all the students. Documents Required for CLAT Counselling Process 2024

How to Register for CLAT 2024 Counselling Process

Login to CLAT Account: Candidates must access their CLAT accounts via the consortiumofnlus.ac.in official website in order to register for the CLAT counselling.

Payment of Counseling Fee: Upon logging in, candidates must pay the registration price for CLAT counseling by selecting the “Make Payment” button. Candidates from the general category must pay Rs. 30,000, while those from the SC/ST must pay Rs. 20,000.

Complete the Details: Applicants must provide their contact information, educational background, and any other pertinent details.

CLAT Counselling Invite List 2024

The invite list is the official document that tells students whether they are eligible or not for the ongoing counselling process. The Consortium includes the admit card numbers of all the shortlisted candidates for the counselling procedure in the invite list. Through email or SMS, counseling will be extended to each and every one of the shortlisted applicants. It is recommended that all candidates verify the counseling invitation by logging into their accounts.

CLAT Counselling 2024 – Freeze, Float and Exit Options

Candidates have three options to select from during CLAT counseling: freeze, float, and exit. It is significant to remember that these options may not be available in all NLUs or counseling sessions. It is recommended that candidates seek further details from the official CLAT website or the website of the relevant NLU. Below we have given the detailed explanation of these options:

Freeze Option: A candidate may select this option if they are happy with the seat they have been given and do not want to take part in any more counseling sessions. By selecting this option, the candidate forfeits any chance to be considered for subsequent counseling rounds and confirms their seat at the designated National Law University (NLU).

Float Option: A candidate may select the float option if they would like to take part in more rounds of counseling and are dissatisfied with their assigned seat. By choosing this option, the candidate can accept the seat that has been assigned to them while simultaneously expressing their desire to take part in additional counseling sessions in order to obtain a better seat. The seat awarded in the previous round will be forfeited if a candidate choose the float option and is given a seat in a later round.

Exit Option: A candidate may select the exit option if, at any time during the counseling process, they decide not to continue. By selecting this option, the applicant will end the counseling process and have their name removed from consideration for any more counseling sessions.

CLAT Counselling Fee 2024

Students will have to pay the counselling fee to attend the CLAT counselling 2024 process. The CLAT counselling fee, which is INR 20,000, must be paid online by credit card, debit card, or internet banking. After the fee is paid, a confirmation email will be issued to the candidates’ registered email address and phone number.

It should be mentioned that at this point, candidates must pay the counseling charge. A candidate will not be considered for admission if the counseling fee is not paid. However, after a candidate is assigned a seat, the counseling charge for CLAT 2024 will be modified in conjunction with the course fee.

CLAT Counselling Fees Refund Policy 2024

Applicants who registered for CLAT counseling 2024 process but were not assigned a seat are eligible to get a 100% reimbursement of their counselling fees. The following are some crucial points about the CLAT counseling 2024 fee refund:

• Candidates will be eligible for a 100% refund of their fees if they are not given a seat during the counseling process.
• Refunds will also be given to candidates who were assigned seats but left the counseling after rejecting their seat assignment; however, the refund amount will be reduced in some cases.
• Candidates will receive a refund after certain deductions if it is determined that they are not qualified for admission.
