The national-level CLAT 2025 entrance exam will be held on December 1, 2024. The CLAT UG entrance exam will be conducted by the Consortium of NLUs in more than 131 CLAT Exam Centers across the nation. New test locations for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) have been released by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs). According to the notification, two more cities, Diu and Silvassa, have been included as new CLAT 2025 test centers. Interested candidates can register for these two exam centers on the official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Candidates will need to utilize their login information, such as their registration number and password, to select new test cities.
CLAT Exam Centers 2025
18 new locations have just been added to the list of CLAT Exam Centers by the consortium of NLUs. During the rectification window, candidates who chose the incorrect exam center can alter it in the CLAT Registration portal on the official website. The information about the exam center that has been allotted to the applicants will be available on the CLAT Admit Card.
The Consortium of NLUs might add or remove CLAT Exam Centers based on the applicants registered for a particular center. Candidates can refer to the article to get details of all the examination centers present across all the states of the country, exam day guidelines, and the documents required.

Documents required at CLAT Exam Centers 2025
The following things are needed if you are going to appear in CLAT Exam
- Blue/Black Ball Pen
- Admit Card
- Original Government Issued Photo ID
- Transparent water bottle.
- Mask, gloves, and personal hand sanitizer.
- Self-health declaration
- Disability certificate for PWD candidates
The following is a list of the photo ID that are allowed in the CLAT Exam Centre:
- PAN Card
- Passport
- Driving License
- Voter’s ID Card
- Bank Passbook with a photograph
- Photo ID evidence with a photograph issued by a Gazetted Officer on official letterhead
- Photo ID evidence with an image issued by a People’s Representative on official letterhead
- A valid current ID card issued by a recognised college or university is required.
- Aadhar card/ Employee ID/ Bar Council Identity Card with a photograph
How to choose CLAT Exam Centers 2025
While filling out the CLAT application form, candidates will have the option of choosing three CLAT exam centers in the order of their priority. When filling out the “test center preference 1” option, they can choose the CLAT exam centers 2025 as their top priority. Candidates must follow the instructions provided in order to select a test location for CLAT.
- Visit consortiumofnlus.ac.in to see the CLAT official webpage.
- By selecting “register” and providing the necessary details, you can register yourself.
- Use your mobile number and password to log in.
- On the CLAT application dashboard, select “preferences” after clicking “apply.”
- There you need to select 3 exam centers for CLAT according to your taste.
- Submit the application form once you’ve filled out all the necessary information.
How to Edit CLAT exam centers 2025?
The detailed procedure to change exam center preference is provided below:
Step 1: Applicants should access their online applications on the official website.
Step 2: After that, applicants should click the dashboard’s “Edit My Application” button.
Step 3: Candidates should update their exam centers by going to the Exam Centre Preference Tab.
Step 4: After selecting “Next,” candidates should tick the “Declaration” box and then save the form.
CLAT Exam Day Instructions
The following recommendations are given to candidates for their various exam centers:
- Candidates are required to maintain a certain degree of social distance and stay away from large crowds.
- Mandatory body temperature checks will be performed at the gate.
- Instead of bringing their own masks and gloves, candidates must utilize those the exam center provides.
- Before moving on, those who have come into close contact with other candidates or invigilators must wash their hands.
- Candidates who exhibit symptoms of COVID-19—such as a fever—must seek a separate room.
- Candidates who make use of scribe services need to make sure the scribe adheres to the rules as well.
- Candidates who are discovered using unfair means or helping other candidates risk disqualification and legal action.
- One hour prior to the start of the exam, the candidate must arrive at CLAT exam center 2021. Candidates will not be admitted if they show up at the testing location 15 minutes after the exam has started.
- The CLAT consortium will not supply a luggage counter, and it is exclusively the candidate’s responsibility to keep their personal belongings safe.
- Once inside the CLAT exam center 2025, the applicant must sign the admit card in front of the invigilator. It must be the exact same signature that was uploaded with the CLAT application form 2025.
