CSAB NEUT 2023 :The Central Seat Allocation Board for North Eastern States and Union Territories, or CSAB NEUT 2023, is a centralised admission process for engineering/technology/architecture seats in eight North Eastern states and four union territories. The institutes taking part are AICTE-approved degree-level technical institutions.CSAB NEUT 2023 registration will be open from June 26, 2023 until July 3, 2023. The selection and seat allocation process will take place in rounds. The deadline for the first round of selection is July 10, 2023. The first round of seat allocations will be made available on July 17, 2023.

The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) has announced the registration dates for the CSAB NEUT 2023. CSAB NEUT 2023 registration will be open from June 26, 2023 until July 3, 2023. The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) will publish the CSAB NEUT 2023 seat assignment outcome on its website, csabnic.in. Qualified applicants will be able to pay their seat acceptance fees and exercise their options online. How to register for CSAB NEUT 2023 ?

Here are the steps on how to register for CSAB NEUT 2023:

1. Visit the CSAB website: https://csab.nic.in/csab-neut/
2. Click on the “Register” link.
3. Enter your JEE Main 2023 application number, password, and security pin.
4. Click on the “Sign In” button.
5. Fill in the registration form.
6. Upload your photograph and signature.
7. Pay the application fee of INR 1000.
8. Click on the “Submit” button.

CSAB NEUT 2023 Important dates

CSAB NEUT 2023 Counseling

Only two rounds of CAB NEUT 2023 counselling will be held. Engineering, agricultural, and pharmacy registration has commenced online; however, registration and choice filling for Engineering and Architecture will be separate from that of Pharmacy. CAB NEUT 2023 counselling rounds are held to allot seats to candidates from North-Eastern states and Union Territories under the aforementioned programme. Online registration, selection, and eligibility differ from JoSAA/CSAB rounds.

CSAB NEUT Eligibility Criteria 2023

The exam authorities will issue several conditions that candidates must meet in order to be considered for admission. If they are unable to meet the CSAB NEUT 2023 eligibility standards, they will be excluded from the admission process.

Educational Qualification

1.JEE Main 2023 rank secured. B.E./B.Tech Paper for B.E./B.Tech. programmes, got a rank in JEE Main 2023 B.Arch Paper for B.Arch. programmes
2,Students who took the Class XII (or equivalent) Board exam in the years 2021, 2022, and 2023 will be eligible for admission through CSAB NEUT-2023 if they meet all other eligibility requirements.
3.Candidates taking the class 12th exams in 2023, whose results have not yet been released, can submit their XII pass certificate by December 31. If the candidate fails the 12th grade, his/her admission will be revoked.

Candidates for engineering and architecture must have passed the class 12 examination with the following grades:

(a) For B. E./B. Tech. programmes: (i) Physics; (ii) Mathematics; and (iii) Chemistry, biology, biotechnology, or a technological vocation topic. (iv) A language (v) Any subject other than the four listed above

(b) For B.Arch. Degree Programmes: (i) Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry (ii) Two more disciplines

The candidate must belong to one of the following North East States or Union Territories:

CSAB NEUT Seat Allotment 2023

Seats will be assigned based on JEE Main 2023 results. To complete the CSAB NEUT 2023 seat allocation, candidates must follow a rigorous protocol. The exam administrators will perform two rounds of allotment, and if there are still open seats, a spot round will be held.Following are the steps for CSAB NEUT Seat Allotment 2023.

Registration: Using their JEE Main 2023 application number and password, candidates must register for CSAB NEUT 2023. Filling and Locking of Choices : Following successful registration, individuals will be required to rank their preferred colleges and courses.Because it will be taken into account during seat allocation, the selection must be made according to preference.Candidates are recommended to select as many options as possible in order to enhance their chances of receiving a seat.Before locking it, the options will be edited and rearranged.Once the options are locked, no changes will be made.A printout of the locked options must be made for future reference.If customers are unable to lock their choices before the deadline, the most recently saved options will be locked automatically.

Seat Allotment: The authorities will publish the CSAB NEUT round 1 and 2 seat allotment results online. Individual allotment letters will not be sent to candidates. Seats will be assigned based on JEE Main rankings, available seats, and preferences. Candidates will be able to download the CSAB NEUT 2023 allotment letter via their candidate login.

Reporting to Centres: Candidates who have been assigned seats must report to their respective centres for document verification. The reporting information will be mentioned in the counselling letter. They must also submit a demand draught for Rs.3000 along with the required documents. Candidates will be given one of three options when they report to the centres:

freezing: If candidates are happy with their seats, they can choose this option. If they choose this option, they will be unable to engage in any additional rounds of therapy.

Sliding: Candidates can select this option if they are happy with their seats but want to be considered for a higher chosen course at the same institute during the subsequent rounds of counselling.

Floating: This option must be selected if the candidates desire to be considered for seat allotment into other colleges or institutes during the subsequent rounds of counselling.

Provisional Admission Letter: After the admission procedures are completed, candidates who have been assigned seats will be able to obtain their provisional admission letter. The admission letter will include information on the assigned institute, counselling cost, branch, and other details.

Reporting to Allotted Institute: Finally, to confirm their admission, allotted candidates must complete online reporting to their chosen colleges/institutes. The required amount must be paid in order to confirm the seat allocation. If they do not report online within the prescribed time frame, they will be disqualified.

CSAB NEUT Spot Round 2023

If there are still open seats after the first and second rounds of counselling, the exam administrators will hold the CSAB NEUT 2023 spot round. The relevant Directorates of Technical Education of the North-Eastern states and UTs will disseminate information about the spot round. Candidates will be assigned based on their merit.
