DU CSAS Portal 2024- Delhi University UG Admission Phase 2 Starts Soon @ugadmission.uod.ac.in

The University of Delhi has started its Undergraduate Admission Process for the academic year 2024-25 through its dedicated Common Seat Allocation System or CSAS Portal 2024.  The university is now starting Phase 2 Registration of the CSAS DU Admission 2024 from Friday, August 02. According to sources, a total of 264,000 students applied for UG courses at Delhi University in the first phase of admission using the Common Seat Allotment System (CSAS).

DU commence the CSAS UG application correction procedure for round 1 admissions on July 30. Students who have enrolled for DU UG admission 2024 phase 1 will be permitted to make changes to their DU application form on or before August 4, 2024. Registered students can complete the DU UG Admission Formalities by visiting the DU CSAS Portal 2024 at ugadmission.uod.ac.in before the deadline.

 Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS Portal 2024) operates as one interface of entry for admission to all UG programs at the University of Delhi’s colleges. All candidates seeking admission to a UoD College must apply only through CSAS(UG)-2024. For DU UG Admission via the CSAS Portal 2024, there will be three steps: submitting the DU CSAS application form, selecting programs and colleges, and allocating cum admission. Only admissions received and granted through the UoD’s official online platform (CSAS 2024) will be considered valid. CSAS Portal 2024 DU Phase 2 Admission

The University of Delhi will soon have the Phase 2 registration window for undergraduate admission via the CUET DU CSAS portal 2024 at ugadmission.uod.ac.in/. With the publication of the results, the University of Delhi opened the window for course and college selection. In this second phase for DU CSAS 2024, candidates must provide their CUET scores as well as their academic information.

After the declaration of CUET(UG)-2024 results by NTA, the UoD will open a Preference-filling phase. Candidate must login his/her CSAS(UG)-2024 dashboard to choose the Program/s s(he) is willing to take admission if allocated.  For admission, the University of Delhi will consider the CUET(UG)-2024 scores provided by NTA for calculating the Program-Specific merit scores. The candidates will be able to see their Program-Specific CUET score for all the Programs in which they are eligible for. These Program-Specific scores will be auto-calculated and displayed on the dashboard of the candidates. Candidate must give his/her preference for Program/s + College/s for every UG Program selected him/her.

Before the commencement of the First CSAS Allocation round, the University will declare Simulated Ranks which are purely tentative ranks based on the scores and preferences submitted by the candidates at the end of Phase II.

DU CSAS Portal 2024 Phase 1

DU began accepting registrations for the CUET DU CSAS 2024 phase 1 which began on May 28 Undergraduate admissions. The first phase allows candidates to enter their personal information on the portal, such as their Class 12 academic scores and Common University Entrance Test (CUET) application number and submit the application fee. Delhi University reported 2,73,109 registrations, including 2,13,522 paying candidates for undergraduate admissions in the three weeks since it launched its admission site, according to university officials. The last date of the DU CSAS Phase 1 Registration is not informed yet. The data is gathered prior to the start of the preference round.

CSAS Portal 2024 – Phase 1 Application Correction

The University of Delhi (DU) has started the rectification window for Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) Phase I registration, which will be operational till August 4, 11:59 PM. Candidates who filled out the CSAS application form for phase 1 will be able to make adjustments to their registration forms until the deadline of the correction window.

This correction window is only available once, therefore they must ensure that all changes are right. Students should, however, not wait for the DU CSAS application correction deadline of 2024 and instead make the necessary modifications as soon as possible to avoid last-minute Issues. Candidates can also include Extracurricular Activities (ECA) or sports categories in their application.

The University of Delhi has created a separate website for admission to 71,000 undergraduate seats for the academic year 2024-25. This is the third year that the university has made admissions based on CUET scores. In February, it issued a bulletin outlining eligibility conditions and a detailed seat matrix for all programmes offered by the university’s colleges.

There are 79 undergraduate programs in DU’s 69 colleges, with 71,000 seats available. The National Testing Agency’s Common University Entrance Test for undergraduate programmes (CUET-UG) will be used to determine admissions. During Phase 1 Registration, interested students can apply directly through the CSAS Portal 2024 website. The second stage of admissions will begin after the CUET results, when candidates must select their desired course-college combination.

CSAS Portal DU Admission 2024 Process

To be admitted to the institution, DU hopefuls must first register and pay through the Delhi institution CSAS portal. The Common Seat Allocation System 2024 (CSAS DU Admission 2024 Process) will consist of three phases, as follows:

  • (Phase 1) Registration at CSAS Portal 2024: Students wishing to apply for CSAS DU UG Admission 2024 must first complete Phase 1 of the application process by submitting an application to the school. During the initial phase, applications must be submitted using the CSAS application form, which can be obtained on the CSAS DU 2024 Portal. Students must pay a one-time (non-refundable) application fee of Rs 250 for general and Rs 100 for SC/ST category students at the time of registration.
  • (Phase 2) College and course preference filling: In the second phase, the candidate will choose her preferred college and programme on the unified DU CSAS portal 2024. This stage will not begin until the CUET results are announced. Students must “fill in the preferences” for their program and college combinations. The institution advises students to choose a variety of courses and college combinations. Before the deadline, an applicant must select the college and program combination by clicking the “submit” button. After entering the preferred order, it cannot be modified.
  • (Phase 3) Seat Allocation Process: In the third phase of CSAS DU Admission 2024, seat allocation will begin. This phase will involve several rounds of allocation and admission. Applicants must confirm the seat and college.This phase will involve several rounds of allocation and admission. An applicant must confirm the seat and college that have been assigned to her on the common admissions website. When DU determines allotments, it considers the mix of colleges and courses, the candidate’s position on the merit list, their category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR), and the availability of seats.
