What is CUET 2025?

CUET UG 2025 Exam Date

Starting in 2022, the National Testing Agency on behalf of UGC is responsible for conducting the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG 2025). The CUET 2025 Exam Date will be released in the middle of September 2024 along with the NTA calendar. However, It is expected that the Exam date of the CUET UG 2025 will scheduled in the third week of May 2025 tentatively in a 7-day window.

Last year, the UG Entrance exam was conducted from May 15 to May 24 and 29 in a hybrid format (computer-based test/pen and paper mode). Candidates are advised to follow the NTACUET Official website for the latest update regarding the CUET Exam date 2025.

Eligibility Required for CUET UG 2025

The CUET 2025 eligibility requirements to be eligible for the exam are mentioned in the information brochure. Prior to registration, candidates must ensure that they meet the CUET eligibility requirements; otherwise, their candidature will be stopped. See below for the CUET eligibility criteria:

  • Age limit: There is no age limit for the CUET 2025 Entrance Exam. Candidates must meet the age requirements of their desired university, institution, or College
  • Nationality: Candidates must hold Indian citizenship in order to be eligible for the CUET Entrance Test.
  • Qualifying Exam: Students who have passed the class 12th/equivalent test or will be appearing in 2025, are eligible to take the CUET 2025 exam.
  • Appearing/ Passing status: Candidates who intend to take the CUET 2025 UG test must have passed class 10+2 or be preparing to take the 10+2 exam.

Step 4: You must first fill out all the required details carefully in the form and click on the submit button.
Step 5: At the end of the form, Now you need to create a password and answer a security question.
Step 6: After that, a system-generated application number will be provided and also sent to you via a registered Mobile number and email.

Upon successful registration, you should now move to the CUET application form. Go through the steps to fill out the CUET Form 2025 online:

Step 1: Go to the official website: https://cuetug.ntaonline.in/.
Step 2: Candidates will receive login details via their registered phone number and email address.
Step 3: To complete the CUET application form, log in with the system-generated number and password.
Step 4: Fill out all of the information requested in the application form, including personal information, educational qualifications, exam center, subject combinations, college preference address, and so on.
Step 5: In the following step, upload the necessary documents, including a passport-sized photograph and signature in the required format.
Step 6: After successfully uploading the documents, candidates should pay their application fees online according to their category.
Step 7: Download and print the CUET UG 2025 application form for future reference.

Documents Required in CUET Form 2025

Before starting the whole process, candidates are recommended to be ready with the following documents as per the prescribed format and size.

  • The recent photograph should be either in colour or black and white with 80% face
    (without mask) visible including ears against a white background.
  • The scanned photograph and signature should be in JPG/JPEG format (clearly legible).
  • The size of the scanned photograph should be between 10 kb to 200 kb (clearly visible).
  • The size of the scanned signature should be between 04 kb to 30 kb (clearly legible).
  •  PwD Certificate (if Applicable)

CUET UG 2025 Form Fee

Only the candidates who successfully pay the CUET Application fee before the deadline can be permitted to take the exam. Failure to pay the registration fee leads to cancellation of the registration number. The CUET 2025 application fee can be paid online using various payment methods such as UPI, Internet banking, and debit or credit card. The Confirmation Page of the online Application Form will be generated only after the successful payment of the fee by the Candidate.

CUET 2025 UG Syllabus

The National Testing Agency publishes the latest syllabus of the CUET UG 2025 on its official website for all 33 languages and 27 domain subjects. The paper will be completely based on the NTA’s prescribed CUET UG syllabus. Refer to the table below.

The CUET question paper is broken into three sections, as follows.

  • The third section, the General Test, evaluates the candidate’s general knowledge, current events, and logical and analytical reasoning.

CUET 2025 Exam Pattern

Understanding the exam pattern of the any exam is the most crucial and initial step to succeded init. The CUET UG Exam is a three-hour computer-based exam. The CUET Exam Pattern is divided into three sections: Language Paper (1A and 1B), Domain Paper, and General Test.
