CUET General Aptitude Test Syllabus
The National Testing Agency releases the latest CUET General Aptitude Test syllabus on its official website at https://exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/. Before starting preparation, candidates must be familiar with the General Aptitude Test CUET syllabus in order to pass the CUET Exam with a high score.
The CUET exam is divided into three sections: I, II, and III, in which, the segment III will include questions from the general aptitude test segment. CUET General Test Syllabus
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the CUET syllabus for languages, 23 domain courses, and the General Test, now known as General Aptitude Test, in March 2025. CUET General Aptitude Test (GAT) New Changes
The General Aptitude Test is replacing the General Test syllabus from 2025 onwards. The GAT paper will be held in online mode (Computer Based Test). The examination will be held for 60 minutes with 50 compulsory questions. The new subjects whose admission will be determined based on CUET GAT scores has been given below.
- The domain-specific subject/paper on ‘Entrepreneurship’, ‘Teaching Skills’, ‘Fashion Studies’, ‘Tourism’, ‘Legal Studies’, and ‘Engineering Graphics’ will be discontinued. For these programs, entry will be determined by results in the General Ability Assessment.
- For all the languages that were included in CUET Section IIB including foreign languages (20 as per CUET-UG 2024), the admissions in the programs of these languages are to be made on the basis of performance in the General Aptitude Test (GAT) paper.

CUET GAT Syllabus: Section-wise Weightage 2025
The entire General Aptitude test segment of the CUET UG exam can generally be divided into 3 sections: GK/ Current Affairs, Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude. The GK/ Current Affairs had the most number of questions last year followed by Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude. That means, the CUET General Aptitude Test paper consisted of most questions from the GK/ Current Affairs and least number of questions from the Quantitative Aptitude (QA) part. General Aptitude Test Syllabus CUET UG 2025 Question Distribution
The CUET Section III comprises the General Test which allot only one hour. In the general test of the CUET entrance exam, candidates would have to answer 50 questions out of a total of 50 questions, however, the NTA does not specify any question paper weightage for each section. How to Prepare for CUET UG GAT Section
